7:39 The only bad thing I can say about Nitro, through no fault of its own, is that it naturally comes to an end and I have to get off the ride! To me it's one of the best experiences in the entire park; it's run efficiently and has high load capacity, frequent dispatches, a scenic out-and-back layout, a long duration well worth however long the queue was, and the minimal but secure lap restraints that make me feel like I'm flying.
One time me and my brother were at the park. It was vacant. We rode nitro 6-8 times in a row. We had a great time there and wish we could relive that experience. Hopefully we can go there later this year if the weather clears.

the best part besides the first drop is easily the little humps in the ride that make you feel like you weigh nothing, i cannot wait until it opens again this year
Nitro makes you feel like you're Superman. Way more so than the actual Superman ride in the park.

Nothing tops that feeling when you’re coming off Kingda Ka and you feel like you conquered the world but before you take off it’s like why am I doing this and you start questioning every decision you’ve ever made!! Same with El Toro’s first hill. We got season tickets to Hershey this year but man I’m gonna miss SFGA coasters!!

28:40 The RARE instance when they'd actually run both sides of Rolling Thunder. I've been to Great Adventure so many times and I never once saw Rolling Thunder actually race. So cool that you got to experience that! I never understood why they didn't race them regularly. It'd have made the coaster that much more fun.
I used to be a cast member with Six Flags Great Adventure back in the 90;s and I sometimes miss being there. Great rides and shows back then. I don't live up there anymore and want to know if they brought back any of the great shows and stunt shows. I was one of the first cast members to help open Skull Mountain and yes that ride is very fun, so is the Runaway train. I noticed they changed the ending of the ride there can't wait to get back and ride again! Thank You for the POV's for SFGA.

I love King da Ka since it only builds up your anxiety when you hear the air release but you don't notice how high up in the air you really are so it's just you enjoying the air and the ride

I was here yesterday, Don’t get fooled by el Toro ITS SO GOOD but so fast....and the drop is crazy. Your going to get a big headache during the ride and your neck is going to hurt but it’s worth it!!! And nitro IS SUCH A GREAT RIDE UGH. Bizzaro (I think that’s what you call it,it’s blue) and it’s in the back of the park. ITS HONESTLY SO GOOD TOO WITH FIRE COMING OUT AT YOU WHEN ON THE RIDE. And kindi ka is very good you can’t even get your thoughts straight while on it.

I was in the middle seat with my friend, I never feared rollercoasters but that really got me happy, too fun
this is just getting me more hyped to go here this summer.
I really do recommend this place, cause it's amazing amazing park that I love with all my heart, it's my home park, so I went there when I was 8 and I had so much fun
I haven't been to Great Adventure during the entirety of 2020 because of the virus, so this gave me a refresh on what the rides looked like when you ride them. Thanks for making this!

Late reply but I live very close to the park, so we went often, and it was the best during COVID. Other than wearing masks inside and using hand sanitizer, there was nobody, so there were no lines.
Even though the footage of the Batman ride wasn't on here, I still find it to be one of the most enjoyable and entertaining ride in Six Flags. Rides like that is the main reason summer would be fun

OMG. The memories, I remember my mom and I were treated to Great Adventure. She even rode on a Roller Coaster. She loves Bingo, but she always took time out of to enjoy a roller coaster ride.

Kingda ka and nitro are my personal favorites! I’ve only been on Kingda ka three times because it is rarely open. Overall, kingda ka is great! It is smooth but the force of the jolt at the beginning is big. I get nervous when I hear the hissing sound and while I am waiting 3 seconds for it to blast off, I get a feeling in my stomach.
Why is it rarely open?
@@TheArtorres because it goes so fast and is always in need to repairs to keep it maintained. Also, since it is the tallest roller coaster in the world, you need the perfect day so there isn’t a rollback bc the slightest wind change can cause a rollback

I remember going on Green Lantern back in 2019 with my senior class and I had a mini panic attack because I wasn’t clipped in seconds before the ride started and then the whole ride my neck was hitting against the harness
i actually had gone on some of these rides but closed my eyes when i did so thank you for this

Thats how I am with Fahrenheit at hershey. My eyes were closed the whole time, and because I'm a massive dork, I went through to almost every pov of it I could find and commented, "so this is what it looked like while I had my eyes closed!"

I went to great adventure on Monday, and it was pretty good! A lot of the rides were closed, like el toro, Wonder Woman, etc, but I had a fun time! I went on every ride except the kids rides and Superman (I chickened out lol) and it was a fun time! Nitro was def my favorite. Nice air time, smooth turns, and a decent ride time. Thanks for the video so I knew what was in store!
When i went a week ago, Jersey devil, el toro, wonder woman, daredevil dive and kingda ka were all closed

Superman is actually pretty calm! I’m 9 and it was my favorite because It wasn’t too scary but not too babyish at the same time

Six Flags Great Adventure, I used to be there when I was a kid, I rode El Toro, the mine train, and the kids area rides too in the 2000s.
I love this video because I was way to short to go on these rides and now I can go on them I’m going next weekend and definitely going on kingda ka and Goliath 🥳

I miss great adventure. I used to go once or twice a year. I remember being on the rides. I always ride in front, best seat. What happened to the footage on batman? Is the green lantern a stand up coaster? What camera do you use that they let you go on rides with? I want to get a camera to go on roller coasters with. Thanks, one roller coaster lover to another.
Batman isnt a good ride. It has headbanging on the twists and headbanging in the inversions

Rode el toro on my senior class trip. Never been more afraid on a coaster that is a scariest most intense coaster I’ve ever ridden
Danny did it in sophomore year and that made them scared of wooden coasters for awhile.
