You nailed it! Started unscrewing around with glove box and decided to go with Plan B (for battery) first. Went inside, ate lunch, and then reconnected the negative cable. Radio worked...literally music to my ears. Thank you! Thank you!

Unplugging the battery negative terminal fixed it for me. I unhooked it, pressed the brakes for like 10 seconds and tried to start to clear any power; then reconnected. Working now, everything reset (time, the dash display type, TPMS, etc). Thanks!

Fixed mine! It was a fuse issue. I went through the steps listed and the screen went back off after 15 minutes. I fixed it by pulling the fuse on the passenger side dash, cleaned the metal prongs on the fuse with a screwdriver (scrapped it to bare metal) and re inserted it. Works and hasn’t turned back off.

Had same issue with mine and I went to fuse panel under A pillar on passenger side in dash there is a 20amp fuse, (location 18) on mine labeled RDO, pulled fuse to check, was good, re installed fuse, bang working again. Might be easier to pull the fuse to reset power to radio, rather then pull power cable from behind clove box or disconnecting battery.

Same issue here with my 2017 Sierra. Radio Inter Link screen goes blank no power at times. Only way to get it to come on is unplug radio fuse and replug. Ok so I was able to fixed the problem! It’s been about 3 weeks now and it’s still working with no issues. So here’s what I did . 1-I unplugged the HMI blue plug that’s under the glove box. 2-Then left it unplugged and went and removed the radio fuse from the passenger side panel. 3-Now that both of those were unplugged, I removed the positive terminal on the battery. 4-I then sat in driver seat pushed on brake pedal, turned light switch on and push on horn so if there was any stored current it would be used . I then waited about 15 min with all the above unplugged. After 15min I replugged in the HMI and I put the radio fuse back in, and lastly I reinstalled the positive battery terminal. It’s been a while now and all working fine… good luck
