You gain the larger screen, as well as HDMI input capabilities, 4 camera inputs for front view and blindspot cameras, time alignment, adjustable equalizer, and many of the features that people perceive as lost can be adjusted with the Vehicle Settings App from PAC-Audio when using the PAC-UP interface updater.
Waste of my damn money, can’t even get my speakers to full volume without the radio crashing…. Was really hoping the internal amp was a lot nicer than this. hey stinger, send me a check with half my money back! My stock radio was just as loud.
So right now, I press and hold the talk button on my steering wheel and then it pulls up Siri on my iPhone. Even if I don’t have it plugged into the usb. Will that feature still work with this?
Over all a great video to show to put it in, i did see alot of spaghetti going on. The factory microphone is only compatible with the factory radio and OnStar systems. It is not able to be integrated into the HEIGH10, or any aftermarket radio.
You will not need to remove the console to replace the radio. However if you wish to mount the dual USB panel in place of an outlet on a vehicle with a center console, you would need to remove the top trim panel that houses the outlets.

Did the module and nessary cables/harness come with radio?..... I was driving and lost all sounds to everything including on star communication audio door ding, turn signl chime don't know what else to do so radio is next
The RB10GM14H kit comes with the Universal HEIGH10 radio and all required installation accessories. Please keep in mind that the kit is not compatible with Bose equipped vehicles, so if something amplifier related is the cause of your loss of sound, this radio will not work. If it is standard audio, then this will replace the entire factory unit. Hope this helps
I have a question, in the website it says not compatible with Bose equipped system. My truck has the Bose system but Iike this stereo, is there any that can be done to make it work?
Hello, please contact support@aampglobal.com or call 727-732-3114 for technical questions. Thank you!
I’ve been looking dor about 3 months for a radio that’s compatible with the Bose system. If anyone knows of one please lemme know
I heard that is none. I have the same sound system.
What if I have a kicker sounds system from the factory that is also plug and play will I be able to connect these product as well?
This unit will be able to connect with a Kicker sound system. If you have any additional questions, please connect with our technical support line at 1-800-477-2267 EXT: 3333. Thank you!

I have a 2018 Denali does my built in phone speaker connect to this unit or do I have to use the mic
The factory microphone in the vehicle will only work for OnStar. You would either need to use the included external microphone, or the one that is built into the screen of the HEIGH10.
My 2014 Silverado have the smaller screen is this compatible?
Yes, this will work with all factory screen sizes, as long as the vehicle is not equipped with the factory Bose audio system.
Where can I purchase this kit for my 2015 GMC Sierra 3500HD
The radio kit can be purchased directly from the link below.
stingeroffroad.com/collections/shop-by-trucks-model/products/silverado-sierra-radio-replacement-kit
You mean 2014.5 thru 2018
Only thing that’s lame is the no wireless CarPlay or auto! Other than that it’s nice
When the unit loses a wired connection, the sound quality is depleated. We value sound quality, which is why it's a wired carplay connection only.
Pink speed snese wire? What's that for? Is it to prevent certain features while the vehicle is moving?
The VSS input on the HEIGH10 is so that the vehicle tracks and moves smoothly in the different navigation apps on the radio. It does not prevent any features from working, rather it makes the navigation work better.
Everything works but my volume?🤷🏾♂️

I just ordered my heigh10 but I have a question. My truck came with wifi built in, does that still work after the install or is that option removed?
The factory WiFi will still work, however any settings that were available thru the factory radio would need to be adjusted prior to installing the HEIGH10, or they would need to be done with the PAC-UP interface updater (sold separately) and the Vehicle Settings Application thru the interface.
Do you guys sell the harness? I bought one off a friend but his is iob and mine is io4
Please contact support@stingeroffroad.com for further assistance with this. Thank you.
Are these a way to install Android to the OnStar 10.5 radio?
This radio replacement package will work in 2014-18 Sierra and Silverado trucks that do not have the factory Bose audio system. It replaces the original radio entirely, and will retain OnStar functionality. For more detailed fitment or technical questions, please reach out to our tech support team at 727-592-5991 for assistance. Thank you.
I have a 2016 Silverado work trim truck. There is no hmi module behind the glovebox. I do have a Factory b/u camera. Where will I find this wire?
Hi there, please contact our technical support department at 1-800-477-2267 EXT: 3333 for further assistance.
Did you figure out the issue I have same problem
Ummmm. From a few wires to wtf wires. How does the satellite radio work?
To use satellite radio you would need to add the SXV300V1 universal tuner from Sirius XM (sold separately). It then connects to the 12 pin to DIN cable adaptor included with the HEIGH10.
This video is very exciting until I have to remove one of my cigarette lighters to have the USBs work? There's two USB ports in my console is there a kit to connect those instead? Anybody help me out with that? I want a new radio but I use that cigarette port for charging while the vehicle is off
Unfortunately, the factory USB ports are not compatible with the HEIGH10 radio. You could use the included dual USB port mount and install it in the glovebox or elsewhere by using a step bit to make a hole that it can be mounted in.
@@Stinger.Solutions thanks for the quick response
So I just added the new unit, honestly pretty sweet set up..Will this work with an adjustable knob for my bass (subs), dont enjoy having to click screen each time. Also have a lot of problems with my backup camera? Seems a lot more blurry than stock, lost my guidelines, and the camera freezes when backing up..please help!
Hi there, please contact technical support at 727-732-3114 for further assistance
Did you get this resolved? My camera keeps freezing and I would love my guidelines
Will this radio work if the truck has a OnStar system?
This radio replacement package will work in 2014-18 Sierra and Silverado trucks that do not have the factory Bose audio system. It replaces the original radio entirely, and will retain OnStar functionality. For more detailed fitment or technical questions, please reach out to our tech support team at 727-592-5991 for assistance. Thank you.
Where can I get the complete kit? I'm in Ontario Canada
Please send an email to support@stingeroffroad with your location and I will get you in touch with our International Sales Team.
Did you wind up getting the Kit for your truck and if so how do you like it?
Hi, great video, Is this compatible with a 2018 GMC acadia?
Unfortunately, this radio is only compatible with the Silverado and Sierra pickups. We do not have any radio replacement options for that vehicle at this time.
So this can’t work off your existing microphone from factory?
The new radio comes with both an external and internal microphone. Unfortunately the factory microphones cannot be integrated with.
I am having trouble, got it installed and everything works as it should, but now speaker in my driver door , rear passenger door and the speaker on driver side dash are not working. It isnt an issue with fade or balance? Any help
Hello, please contact our technical suport at 1-800-477-2267 EXT: 3333
Hey I’m having the same exact issue and tech support is closed until Monday, did you ever figure out what the problem was?
Do you guys sell just the steering wheel control harness? If not do you know where I can buy one?
Unfortunately that steering column harness is not available separately
I have the Bose system. Do you have a compatible model?
Unfortunately, we don't have any compatible units for the BOSE systems.
Does that have to capacity for phone mirroring for an IPhone??
The HEIGH10 does Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but not phone mirroring
My concern is this kit is for iob and io4 etc or you have to pick a specific
The radio replacement package comes with everything you need for all factory audio trims, other than Bose equipped vehicles. Once you know which specific factory radio you have, you will then use the correct harnesses and instruction for your truck.
Do you have one that will work with a factory bose system?
We are working on a solution for Bose equipped vehicles, but we do not currently have one that is compatible.
i have the a WT model my steering wheel only has cruise control do I still need to attach the steering controls adapter?
If you do not have audio controls on the steering wheel, then you can leave that connection out of yours.
@@Stinger.Solutions Thanks! Appreciate the outreach. Good to see customer service still matters. Tell your boss I said you deserve a raise as well.
Does this work with a 2019 GMC Sierra Limited or 2019 Silverado LD. (previous body style)
If it's the older body style with one of the RPO codes listed it will work. You can call Tech Support at 727-592-5991 M-F 9am-8pm and we can help you determine compatibility.
Yes the LD will work
hate that this wont work for trucks with bose audio
We are working on Bose compatibility, but not ETA yet. Keep your eyes peeled on the Stinger Off Road site.
Could you do a video for those people that have the center console in their trucks,or what installation is different? Thanks
We do not have a video that specifically shows the trucks with a center console, but you can see how easily the tray of the console comes out in videos like the one linked below that other individuals have posted on RUclips. The rest of the installation will be the same.

What is the chime adapter for I have aftermarket sound system with stock radio can I buy this adapter to lower the door chime volume
The chime module works with the RP5-GM51 module, it's not a piece that is sold by itself.
How much is the unit? Can it get XM/Sirius?
The link to the Stinger Off Road site where you can buy the unit direct is linked below. It has satellite radio capabilities by adding the SXV300V1 universal tuner (purchased separately).
stingeroffroad.com/products/silverado-sierra-radio-replacement-kit
why cant you use the stock microphone?
The factory microphone is only compatible with the factory radio and OnStar systems. It is not able to be integrated into the HEIGH10, or any aftermarket radio.
Will this require me to remove a center console to install
You will not need to remove the console to replace the radio. However if you wish to mount the dual USB panel in place of an outlet on a vehicle with a center console, you would need to remove the top trim panel that houses the outlets.
Is this works on the 2014 Sierra SLT, Z71 package? With premium sound.
I have same question.
The radio replacement package will not work with Bose equipped vehicles.
