Matt's right to be fair, that car doesn't need anything else doing to it. It's fantastic as it is.
Just have to beware of the motor on these 3.8L 991.1’s as they fail pretty regularly, and the 10 year extended engine warranty that Porsche did is pretty much done by now. That’s why a lot of these are for sale at reasonable prices. No problems on the 991.2 4.0L motor though.
Matt literally destroys cars and calls it modifying. He builds some of the ugliest automobiles. Plus his content is super corny and scripted. Probably the worst car channel in my opinion. Modify the $hit out of it stock is boring and for people without taste.
Disappointed that he even thought of adding turbos/superchargers

When u mentioned turbos etc I was so disappointed, the gt3 is glorious with the way the engine delivers its power without forced induction. So glad Matt talked you out of it. ❤️🔥

I mean they're taking the exhaust apart and tuning the car it's already going on a lift they're mechanics why not check the oil for him

Hence we will see a Nico pivot to cars. Trouble is he’s a crowd follower and hasn’t got much real car knowledge or credibility. Just shouting won’t cut it

honestly that car without any forced induction is still an incredible car. i think leaving it with just the exhaust is 100% the way to go. plus with turbos you lose some of that beautiful news

Nico, I speak from long experience: boxer engines do not like being messed with, even by supposed Porsche experts. Yeah… they’ll get the motor to roar - until it screams in pain and breaks. And when they break, they break big. Then the sad folks would leave their tuner and show up at our facility. But what about those cars I saw at fill in the blank event?” customers would plead. “They don’t break.” Amazingly to me, they honestly thought the cars they saw the factory field for major races were the same as what they bought at their dealership, not realising that the competition engines were about as similar to their mills as a thoroughbred is to a Shetland pony, and cost five times more at least.
In their literature, manufacturers often have bold print cautions regarding what NOT to do to your car. This isn’t “warranty shit,” as one guy had been told by his previous mechanic. It’s there because the engine will often break if those things are done.

I love the way Porches sound. They handle well, they're reliable, and for the money, they are better buys than Ferrais or Lambos. Sure, V-12s sound awesome, but a Porsche with a good exhaust wrapped out sounds just as good.
These and matts energy's are God tier. You need your own channel together .

Can I just point out two things.
One. Dynojets are generally "happy dynos".
Two. From what I could see, it was STD correction, not SAE.
Considering that and the age fo the car, you're looking at more like 440-450 flywheel hp if you want to compare to factory.

The porsche 911 platform is the best all-around car ever made. It's great for daily driving, and it's also fantastic when you want to open it up for some spirited driving. Change my mind.
