Forgot to mention that film all these videos of myself with manual focus lenses. cause why not, ya know?
💯💯
i wish i felt confident using manual but i be moving around too much 😂
ive heard you mention in previous videos that you shoot a lot in manual mode and since then I rarely ever shoot in auto plus the lenses I use atm are canons RF lenses and they focus so slow its kinda ridiculous
He’s the goat
Literally came to the comments, to highlight that. 😂
"I do not let not having friends detour me from making videos." Priceless advice for any creative. Dope dialogue. Beautfiul imagery. 🎥
💯..
Skateboard shot is flame 🔥
agreed i really wanna see how he did it

sometimes i think not having friends or an entourage is holding me back but this has proved me so so wrong and I'm here for it.
if anything, it challenges you to think outside the box! So many shots you can achieve with just your tripod. It's way more versatile than we tend to think
I don't have friends either, which might be one reason I turned to filming and storytelling. I'm really glad I found your channel.
when you are filming yourself the most important thing is that the house interior decor and the attractive props. and then lighting, etc.
False.
@@vuhlandes What to film, the subject is the most important thing, isn't it? The subject must have its own beauty.
@@vuhlandes True. Not looking at someone's ugly, messy house!
I wouldn't frame it that way but yes, mise-en-scene is a key element in storytelling and can absolutely emphasize/evoke a mood/character/scene. But there is no ranking of most important to least, all of these things combined is what makes a great film.
@@winetime1758 False, depends of the theme itself, it's very subjective. If you are filming some horror movie or a documentary of abandoned building, even a documentary of the precariousness of a certain group of people who are struggling to get money due to a economic problem of the country/ spot, to show awareness, etc.
What really is important and essencial for every filmaking is the light.
this is the first video I have ever seen on your channel and I’m completely blown away and very inspired to stop procrastinating and letting things I don’t have access to stop me
We still praying for you bruh hope you feeling better better daily 🧦🙏🏾
Vuh! I’m only a few mins in but just gotta say. Your vids get more and more “nostalgic” looking every time I watch. The talking head shot, and its colour grade, quality, vibe, etc is soooo beautiful. The “sharp but soft”ness of the image is always on point. I can never quite nail that myself! Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙏
some great points being made in here, I never thought about it as acting in your owns films, but that makes total sense, and opens a whole new world for creativity I think.
Love it Vuh, 5 minutes in and yet so inspiring!
Thanks for motivating me to get out of my comfort zone and just go for it. I've been watching your videos for a few years and always hear you say "go do some sh*t", but it resonated with me today. I love film photography and haven't taken photos in a while. Now I plan to have mini photoshoots with myself. It'll be stressful, but fun and exactly what I need. Thanks as always and keep doing you, Vuhlandes!
Love seeing your style grow and evolve as well. Your mini films are beautiful and super interesting 😎👌🏾
Always the most inspiring and encouraging videos on this channel.
Your videos are great, I'm loving them, and I feel so inspired now... Looking forward to try. Thanks!!
Your videos are just pure art to me. You could talk about the most boring things, and I would just watch.
Love that saturated, dark editing vibe bro
Thanks for the tips! Always pumped when my boy posts!
Incredible video! Love how you went in depth explaining your 3 shot roll. Awesome way to simplify things and find a place to get started.
I enjoy your videos. I’ve been a fan of your channel for a while, but honestly, this is the best advice I’ve ever gotten on RUclips. I love the three-shot rule; the simplicity of that concept is brilliant. Thank you so much.
I really like the way your clips look and the cool way you give us your ideas
Your message and creativity earns every sub. I’m in

Thanks for making this video!
"Giving the life to the lifeless things", that's really a great quote.
I'm a solo shooter (no friends around to help me filming).
I shoot with vintage Canon FD lenses. (All FD lenses are manual.)
When I was filming the latest project, I literally did 15 or so take for just ONE scene (quick draw of 1911 from hip holster in tight confined space (aka: my tiny kitchen).
It was possible because I was doing everything by myself.
I could do re-take as much as I wanted.
I'm a big fan of your videos, especially like this !
love this thanks for the inspiration ! Subbed
Thank you for this - It's brilliant! And so inspiring. Thank you for being kind and sharing all the knowledge 🌞☀🏖

Thank you for the inspo! Definitely going to keep in mind my next project!
so inspirational dude awesome
Your chill vibe remembers me the channel with the perrys
amazing tips! keep them coming
As always a lot to learn, would be nice to see your thought process when arriving at a new scene ro compose the location nicely, what is the priority, what is the first think you think of etc.
Great video! I honestly appreciate that you are not afraid to be yourself or what we think being yourself is. It really gives a non sholant everyday vibe in your cinematography. Although I know these shots are well planned, but, there are actually so many times where I say “I wish I had me camera to capture this shot” and that how your shots look and feel. Thanks for keeping us inspired by keeping it simple. There is no better
tutorial than just shooting. What’s your favorite lens? Thanks
Vuhlandes you are a great artist, I love your vision/style.
content always be inspiring, thank you
Great tips and inspiration, loved the rule of three shots with one zoomed out, one mid shot and one up close 🎥 Definitely makes me want to make more cinematic content 🔥🌄
Excited the implement the Vuhlandes 3 Shot Rule into my filmingggg
I was just watching photography and travel videos and thinking what a privilege it is to have people there. Then you posted this.
Thanks to "going solo in france", I discovered you and I am so happy. All my best wishes for you and thank you.

damned bro! You just opened my creative mind with this video love it!!!! Thx💪
Thank you for the advice 🙌🏽 This was dope 🔥 God bless you, bruh 🙏🏽
Your videos give me inspiration dawg!
love your video style 🔥
This is so good!
Hey Vuhlandes iv'e been watching for awhile now and my passion for film has grown a ton. I should be getting a camera wihtin the next couple months but am not really sure where to start. There are tons of "beginner" videos but not in the style/color grade you film in. You should definitely make a video walking through step by step what settings you use and go over the color grade or maybe you already have one I just haven’t come across yet. Love the vids keep it up!
Thank you for this ✨
You're super inspiring i appreciate this video my boy, been feeling really stagnant trying to make my content because I can only really film myself
I don't have any friends, either, lol. I love your cinematic style. Thank you for the tips.
Great reminders!!! Thanks
I've been trying to better my camerawork in my channel since it's not necessarily hitting the way I wish it would, but I think I'm gonna try out your 3 shot rule for my next episode. Thanks for the tips Vuh, you're a lifesaver!
after being on a lil camera block i’m finally back inspired thanks 🖤
This is such good advice bro. I'm so inspired by your videos
Looks amazing as usual
Your coloring is insaneeeeee. Thank you for inspiring me and the new direction I want to take with my channel. Much love and respect🫶🏽🫶🏽
