Love your videos man. You make me jealous living near those streams! I live in south central Virginia. Takes me 1 hr minimum to get to any trout water. These videos make me want to move! 😂
(( ❄️ )) yesterday morning here in Pennsylvania we just had our first snow flurries, wasn't that much but still it snowed. Like always great video, great information and techniques plus great fish catching as well.
Thank you, Sir, for another excellent video! If you see this & have the time, could you please sometime explain and/or demonstrate your landing net set-up? The parts I can see on camera appear so fluid. I am quite happy with current my set-up, but I’m looking for something better-suited for my 79 yr-old Dad, who has no interest in my technique, and still uses a very crude & contrived (sloppy) method. I'm constantly searching for ways to keep him in the fishing game as his health and eyesight decline.
I actually attach my net to a magnet located at the top of my fishing vest. It works very well. You may want to install a lanyard of some kind to avoid him loosing his net. Thanks for watching!!
This videos was filmed on Cripple creek in Virginia. There are many signs of a wild trout. Most obvious is the intact fins and well as pristine colors and par marks
The 6mm are more of a egg imitation. The 10mm used in this video closer imitates the pellets they are used to eating also a alternative to dough baits many anglers use.
Nice video as usual. Any tips for fishing stock rainbow trouts that are releases to ponds? I’ve had luck rigging the creek bugs before with the drop shot.
Thanks for watching!!!
Where are you located?
Hi I am coming to Whistler this weekend to fish would I be able to call you sometime
To chat about some fishing related things?
Thanks
Russ!
You earned a sub, not only for the beautiful trout, but for how calm you are while fishing and how nicely you treated them.
Thanks! 🎣

We got our first flurries as well. Winter is definitely upon us!!! Thanks for watching
It helps if you keep them in the water for the time they are in the net so they stay health
Great video and thanks for sharing your knowledge. How would you retrieve this rig in a calm lake?
The same technique will work great on lakes and ponds. Thanks for watching!
Thank you, Sir, for another excellent video!

What size hook do you prefer? Are they lightwire? Thanks for all your videos!
Size 6 or 8 Ideally
If I may !! How can you tell by looking at the trout if they are wild or stock ?
Lots of signs. Biggest being the intact fins and markings
Where you are how do you tell the stockers from the wilds?
This videos was filmed on Cripple creek in Virginia. There are many signs of a wild trout. Most obvious is the intact fins and well as pristine colors and par marks
Really nice fish at the end. Are the Little Stinkers meant to imitate fish eggs, or just be attractive without imitating anything in particular?
The 6mm are more of a egg imitation. The 10mm used in this video closer imitates the pellets they are used to eating also a alternative to dough baits many anglers use.
Hello. What type of Camera are you wearing to record your Vids..?... thank you njk
I use a GoPro Hero 9. Thanks for watching!!!
@NRVOutdoors Thank you Sir. 😊
What brand of line do you use? Also I want a net that one whats the name of it? Thanks
I use Berkley Vanish. The net is made by a small company in North Carolina called Hellbender nets.
@NRVOutdoors Thank you. I enjoy your videos. Only been trout fishing about 3 years I learn alot from you.
Nice video as usual. Any tips for fishing stock rainbow trouts that are releases to ponds? I’ve had luck rigging the creek bugs before with the drop shot.
Just get a Super Duper. Trout (stocked or otherwise) jump on them like crazy!
The same technique used in this video will work very well in ponds. The secret is about finding the right separation between your lure and float.
What state is Blue Springs in ?
Virginia
Nice. Beautiful scenery.
Nice. Beautiful scenery.
Does Blue Springs stock the areas that you fish like they do for others?
They do not stock for me at all. I catch whatever the previous customers leave behind
