  • Join me in this tutorial to learn how to make a creepy cute black spider pendant!
    🔨Materials:
    - 30" piece of 22g (0.6mm) craft wire (Not steel wire, it's too hard!) If you are new to wire wrapping, I recommend using a thinner wire like 24g or 26g wire until you are comfortable manipulating long pieces of wire. Don't worry, it will come with practice!
    - 8mm round bead; the hole needs to be large enough to fit 2 pieces of the wire in it.
    - Optional: 4mm round bead for the head
-Pliers: Chain Nose, Round Nose, Needle Nose (optional)
    -Wire Cutters

I was so very impressed with your presentation! You made everything so clear, each step step was explained so clearly so that the newest wire wrapper could understand:
    1. You explained that the wire has a kind of it’s own
    2. Said things such as, “At this point you will notice the wire is getting a little harder.”
    3. Reassured students that it was okay fit it didn’t look right at that point.
And many other things that a seasoned wire wrapped would even think about, without going into long boring detail.
And you did it all in a very pleasant manner!
Just saying it was very well done!
Keep up the good work TEACHER!❤

This was a great tutorial. I followed along with you, only I used larger beads. This was my first attempt at wire wrapping. Needles to say my spider looks like he's missing leg segments. 😂 Next time, I'll either use the same size beads or a longer wire. I think it turned out pretty good overall, thanks to your detailed video. Thank you!

Haha don't worry, that happened to me the first time too! By the time I got to the back legs, they were teeny tiny 😂 I'm so happy you enjoyed it though! ❤️

Guy's I made it and her some tips
Use 0.6 size wire I used the minimum, which is 5, and it was weak and twisted a lot
Be careful for the legs and end part
    The video was great

My problem is I don't know sizes of my wires or how to order it or beads. I always get the wrong size especially on beads they r all like seed bead size holes.

    • @Turtledove72
      @Turtledove72 10 месяцев назад +1

If you order from eBay usually they have the sizes. So the body is about 8 mm and the head 4-5mm. And with the wire, I write the size in permanent marker so I always know the size. And the most sizes you use is 18 gauge, 20 gauge and then 22,24 and 28 gauge.

Craft wire should be available at your local craft store, or you can just do a quick google search for copper craft wire! For plated/colored wire, I tend to use Artistic Wire. For beads, there's Fire Mountain Gems back in the USA, or you can usually find deals on Ebay or Etsy like someone else mentioned. For bulk copper/silver wire, Rio Grande is my go-to site for all professional quality jewelry supplies! 💙

I have an electronic calipers it was real cheap and instantly measures even the thinnest wires and beads accurately.
I find the holes thru beads are mostly 1mm.
