There are lots of things that can be said about the Hindi singing voices of Disney's beloved females, but one thing that cannot be said by anyone - is that they all sound the same.
And there is good reason for that, it is the rich musical diversity that exists in the backgrounds of the singers chosen from this country for voicing the princesses we see on screen. From indigenous genres like Carnatic and Hindustani to western genres like opera and gospel - singers from all walks of life have entered the studio to breathe life to our beloved Disney females in Hindi.
Here are a handful of these singers, with clips of them singing in the genre they have their musical roots in and which helped them develop their voice and performance style today.

Because she is Christian, but her voice also sounds like it is Carnatic trained. Perhaps you could ask her about it? What training did she have to start her musical journey?
