You're good at explaining things visually in the mind, great skill! Thanks really enjoyed.
You make these repairs look so easy and you have the greatest personality!
Michael Henry these repairs Are easy. It just looks complicated and highly technical but it really isn’t. What she did in this video is very basic electronics.
Wow, your videos are priceless. I have such a laughs, your sense of humor is amazing. Plus now that I've learnt more about electronics I understand pretty much everything you are doing and understand it pretty well. Thank you!!!
The final chat comment was the best. " Lesson is you don't need a mosfet" -JCeazy
Nice Job!
beautiful video
Nice job
Your title is great.........most entertaining!
It may of been late, but you are still great :-D
You're amazing maam Jessa :)
Thanks for sharing your skills :) watching from the Philippines :)
Interesting Video i used to find short the old way by pulling out things now i find them with my dc power and thermal camera . works every time thats assuming the device was not messed with by a previous tech . Visual inspection always trumps thermal camera :)
You are awesome! :)
Great fun!
I'm not understand english very well but showing step by step very nicely
Great TIP GOOD LADY congratulations for victory
I loved your video...
thanks
LOVE YOU MAMM YOU ARE SO KIND EXPERT I EVER SEEN..
Please record the training with the newbies! That would be awesome! :)
"we have a fan spin!" 😂
Its like a giant heatsink under that chip
I wish i could learn this.
Really nice video my dear Teacher... love from Pakistan ❤
Well done for the good work.
But what could cause iPhone 6 that doesn't charge, after change trister and Tigris, it takes long time before it boot
I like the way you teach. What is the fan thing you using to know u still have short
A good old ToneOhm can be useful, so long as you know in advance the path of the power tracks.
So big ol' honkin' giant shorts are cool.
Which power Supply you used, please answer me. Ur job awesome i really like it you are so laborious 👌👌
HI Jessa, yet another brilliant video. Can you clarify something you said? If testing the battery connector tells us there is a short on either Batt_VCC or VCC_Main, then there must be a connection somewhere between Batt_VCC and VCC_Main to be able to tell that there may be a short on VCC_Main from the battery connector. Therefore, if that connection exists, then when testing the cap in VCC_Main, the test would effectively test both lines all the way back to the battery connector, (due to the connection somewhere) and return a short! You stated this test would only identify a short within VCC_Main. Thanks.
Hi great video as always. Can you do a video on finding an open circuit on an iPhone? There are tons of videos on youtube for short circuits but i cant find any for finding open circuits. Thanks.
Thanks Jessa! Maybe that blob of solder was put there on purpose? I don't see how anyone could make a mistake like that.
Damn you Jessa!! I was just about to call it a night. One more repair it is............
I’ll watch if you do
I’m in love🤫
Ur awesome madam........ Love it
I have the 6s Plus I replaced a faulty rear camera because it was not focusing well and lens kept vibrating, now the rear camera not working front camera not working and flash not working so I put back in the original faulty camera because it just had focusing issues but still now none of the cameras working or the Flash. What should I test next do you think. Thank you
somethjing to sleep on it.Gnite mastah Jessa!
How did that huge blob of solder get like that.
verry nice
Good
For some reason, the video doesn't load for me. Just this particular video.
Jessa, do you mind explaining the jumper you did at the mosfet ? You connected what to what ? Thanks !!!
I am doing the job of the mosfet, except skipping the trickle charge control gate for data recovery. Most phones will boot without the mosfet, as long as Tigris is good.
Hi ma'am, I'm a novice cp tech mostly on Android.. And I been inspired by your videos to do iPhones. Can I ask what exactly is data recovery? And how much do we charge customers for it. A reply would be great. Thank you, I'm a great fan.
hello from greece you are great can i ask please where can i found good multimeter microsoldering probes with zero resistance?
Would the old tigress chip be bad if reused? Can you reball something that small, first time looking at the insides of iphone, i usually see macbook repair by louis where some of the larger chip can.
You can reball a chip a quarter of the size of Tigris. I don’t reball chips that commonly get electrical damage because it’s just as easy to eliminate that variable and use a new chip for a few bucks
Corrosion....that quickly?
If you have a nice high current power supply you could get it hot. Melting Tigris would be fun to watch:)
Iphone 6 working good phone is on but phone is full short.. any solution
Tu nice video I find this in 2021 I got a problem I got a desktop motherboard a gigabyte ga-h67ma I know were the negative is by the screws hol but what about the positive were do i place the red wire tu waiting for reply
Yes..
I have short between positive and negative battery connection , what should I do to find short ?
SAVE it Find the specific line that is shorted. you need to be more specific to get your plz bro answer

That could mean that the origin of the word is 'Forte' in French wich means 'Strong' but with the feminine marker, and that's why you don't say the E, as the TE is only one syllable
And the reason of the word having the E to be the feminin version is a mystery to me because the common use in France is more 'Ce n'est pas mon fort' wich litteraly translated mean'That's not my strong'...
It makes more sense if it's Italian but they prononce the E independently too ...
I think a good point to start when training repair noobs, is talking through some devices, normal function, faults and their symptoms, technique - get a good feel for their tech and repair literacy and comfort level. Make sure they're comfortable asking questions. You're gonna "waste" a lot of extra time in training, if you start out with language and explanations way over their current level. Accounting for and working to dismantle language/jargon barriers is really essential, because nothing is gonna work out if communication is bad. Have them observe a job 1st from start to finish (just observe), while you reduce your pace. Then do the same job again, _now_ they should ask questions. This way, you generally save a good bit of time on questions that answered themselves at a later stage in the process, and there will be less circling back and getting off-track.
Instill early the imporance of being thorough, keep good track of screws and shields, not trying to get too much done before a unit goes back on the hotplate, disconnecting battery (generally respect lithium batteries and live electronics), cleaning seal surfaces, and not trying to work faster than what they can control (dropping a screwdriver on Ipad LCDs is a common result of working too fast).
Dang I was already asleep 🥺
Master Tao and Master Frank would promote Fonekong Shortkiller
We don’t recommend the use of Fonekiller. The idea of it is clever, but it does not improve on existing methods and is very likely to make some repairable phones unrepairable and require CPU transfer
Louis says that the freeze spray it is too expensive and he stopped buying it.
hi rehab show some other company's phone like samsung sony
Yeah
What happened to your camera quality it use to look better
Thank u very much for all video
Some time i found short and i connect mobile to power supply normaly and i didnt found hot
Then i chang power supply cable by connect black probe to + side and red probe to - side and adjust voltage 2v and i detect the bad part quickly by it heat
My question is
Do you think is it savety way or no?
Wait your answer my teachr
I follow you from ksa
And thank u again for all your vedeo
Heat does not always equal “bad”
wow I love this but how can I get in touch with you
Go to ipadrehab.com and click Get Started to tell us about your specific device and problem and we will respond with a quote and mailing instructions.
Bad connections make heat also .
yeah~!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about 'up all night' title, slaughter sings that 1
something about jes, reminds me of, the nemo movie. is it just me?
Hi I am form India your exlent teaching ,, put android phone dead solutions upload videos ,,I am waiting
If Apple went of business you could be called “Samsung Tab Rehab”
If it's not hot, give it another watt! (I claim no responsibility for flaming electronics)
Make it Hot...lol
don't use that spray. if you cool the parts you get condensation and moisture on the board
Nice lesson learnt here, so I have a question regarding this, do you think the new stuff(short killer) mr Tao from fonekong introduce on Facebook last time could blow or melt off a short like this?
A hell no I believe.
I think the shortkiller is a dangerous tool that will damage many boards that are otherwise repairable. In this case I think the shortkiller would have burned a hole in the board somewhere and the board would not be repairable.
I too thought that way tkq
Get some rest! Cheers!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hello ?
Q: Is everybody sleep? because you are yelling almost,
thanks about lesson also.
I cant speak chinese but I did sleep at a motel 6 last night
Accept sings 'Russian roulette'
Powerful women fix it
"I don't see any corrosion on this."
Were you not listening when she said the 2nd place ran it through the ultra-sonic? I wouldn't expect to find corrosion after that.
Then you’d be a noob. Ultrasonic does not magically erase all signs of water damage. Did you not see the speaker amp area? That’s what corrosion looks like after uc. The board can’t lie.
"Cool Shorts"
See hot, replace cold
26:48 "Something about shorts not being hot all the time" Depends what style. Bike shorts aren't hot, but cut-off jeans ...
Hello how are you and i hope you are well can you tell me about your mobile website diagram
I have a gen 1/2 ipad that wont charge or start up, dont know if has passcode or not, how much to look at to fix?
I haven't words..... Marry me Jessa Power!!!!
where you buay the ic,s from china ?and which side you recommend thanks

“tigris was not hot” = push more current :P
Big wires don’t get hot. Little wires get hot. What would happen is the smallest wire will burn. In this case, the short would be the LAST thing to burn after you’ve killed much of the board.
Using current and heat to create fires on boards is a great way to destroy repairable cases.
@@JessaJones I agree. The comment was intended to be a troll. I apologize if it came off as serious.
It would have been nice to know the resistance between the battery line to GND, PP_VCC_MAIN to GND, and battery line to VCC_MAIN for this specific case.
I would assume in this case all three lines would have been shorted together under Tigris. Your conclusion probably could have been realized without injecting power into the board if the resistance of these lines was measured. If all three lines were shorted together and there is a solder glob next to a chip that contains those three lines, one can assume that there is a good chance that chip is bad.
I think this would have been a better alternative to show this from a teaching standpoint. Taking in measurements, closely observing the board, and reading a schematic encourages the beginner technician to use his/her brain to infer where a short could be instead of relying solely on heat. Although, I definitely do not think it was a bad idea to show that the heat does not always appear where the short resides. I certainly understand why you chose to highlight this case. (The less Plz Bro, the better) Personally, I just think blindly injecting voltage at BATT_VCC without measuring those lines first could be confusing or misleading for someone getting into the hobby/industry.
But, who am I to nitpick at someone sacrificing their time to recording at midnight in order to provide a free resource to the community? Thanks for all you do for the community and keep up the good work!
To train new people...let them do what they think is right...then teach them what they must do.....hehehe
11:14 ...sounds like sexy time at my house
How to train.... tell em to go watch your vids ...
hi my frind
Ic rebilling easy trik
for smd
bd nayem
Yes and what to do if your short circuit doesn't get hot even after throwing 3Amps
down the main power rail, there are NO visual clues, NO past history to refer to
with every component on the shorted line(that has a path to ground) putting up its hand.
'Will the real shorted component PLEASE stand up or I'll pull your faking friends off the motherboard
ONE by ONE till I find you!' But you know that'll take forever and the shorted component has called your bluff.
Time to throw out the board!
plz u help me Rehab (u send me mikroscop and zwx plz.) i waiting u answer
Too much screaming, dear woman that is not funny to anybody...
Please don't blaspheme God's name.
Nah, he told me he was cool with it.
Really nice video my dear Teacher... love from Pakistan ❤
