The firelights are the true heart of Zaun. The Firelight society is everything Zaun is supposed to be. Red is power. Noxus and Silco are both red. Caitlyn wears red when she's at her closest with Ambessa and is at the height of her power. Vi is a very strong and powerful fighter and ofter relies on her own power more than anything else. Blue in the show represents change. Hextech brought about change in Piltover. The Z-Drive allows Ekko to go back and change the outcome of a situation. Viktor as the Machine Herald wears a lotbof blue and is teying to change the world. Jinx goes through so much change in her own life and causes so much change in the lives of others. Even the enforcers change from opressive stormtroopers to freedom fighters fscing Noxus at the end. And then there's Warwick, who perfectly emphasizes all of this. When he's in his bloodlusted state, his eyes and the machinery in his body glows red since he is just a powerful beast being unleashed on the masses. Then, when he calms down, the tanks and one of his eyes turn green, showing Vander's return since Vander was once the person running Zaun. Much like the firelights, he used to be the heart of Zaun. Plus, one of his eyes is blue, representing that even though Vander is in control, he's obviously different. Also, he is open to change again as he in this state embraces his daughters and begins ro recieve his memories back
Okay but, this is legitimately one of the main reasons I love this show and JJK. Color theory is used to portray not just emotions, but the energy to a scene. Gold is ethereal and elegant but also triumphant and powerful. Red is desperate and chaotic but also angry and feral. Blue is melancholy and slow but also intimate and passionate. Green is lively and lush but also necrotic and foreboding. Each choice of color is intricately chosen to best impact the scene.
