About *the Killing Joke* and its ending, I know that this alternative take made popular up by Grant Morrison became a somewhat famous fan theory, but in case a viewer actual wonders if it's canon or not... Nah, it's just a fan theory... -Brian Bolland says that it's not true; according to *the Killing Joke* letterer Richard Starkings => “No. They are laughing. Batman is laughing so hard he leans on the Joker for support. The End. Brian described it to me that way when this craziness first came up. In 1986.” ... so the common argument of _Batman is clearly strangling him/about to snap his neck_ [important since it's one of Grant Morrison's 2 main points, as stated when they discussed that theory with Kevin Smith on his "Fatman on Batman" podcast] doesn't have much merit. -The script by Alan Moore (with his personal notes) is available online, and there is nothing in it that indicates that Batman killed Joker. -And before the story was adapted into that controversial animated movie in 2016 when a fan directly asked Moore if Batman kills Joker at the end of TKJ, he publicly answered with this => "For the record, my intention at the end of that book was to have the two characters simply experiencing a brief moment of lucidity in their ongoing very weird and probably fatal relationship with each other, reaching a moment where they both perceive the hell that they are in, and can only laugh at their preposterous situation. A similar chuckle is shared by the doomed couple at the end of the remarkable Jim Thompson’s original novel, The Getaway." ... all I'm saying is that he's been asked this question a bunch of times, and Moore has always said that he didn't know where this "Batman obviously kills Joker in the last page" theory came from. I originally wrote a much longer post with extra "proof", but it's already too long now that I've abridged it ^^' I've given accounts from the writer, artist and letterer, and they all disagree with that interpretation, so that's enough for me (I have other points, but they're not as easily demonstrable, so for this post they're useless) Anyway, good stuff, cheers for spreading "Telltale Batman" & Murpyverse awareness \o/ for further content about Jason Todd and what really happened to him in that universe, I'd recommend reading *Batman: White Knight Presents: Red Hood* (it's just 2 issues long) Keep up the good work!
I think according to Mr Freeze, if the cure is exposed to the air it would lose its healing properties. So i think the cure only works if its in its vial and taken quickly.
It is explained in Batman White Knight Presents: Red Hood (good book btw) that jason was too scared bats would hate him, as he told the joker his biggest secret, so not directly something to do with “wanting a normal life”
Indeed, I didn't want to spoil it outright so I recommended that people read *"White Knight: Red Hood"* , since what's said in the video doesn't line up with Jason's thoughts & actions shown by Sean Murphy... But yeah, Jason (who is the first Robin in the Murphyverse, and Dick is the second) is pretty far from having a "normal life" after leaving Bruce, and he leaves because he can't face him after betraying him/cracking under torture. He becomes a drifter after failing at being in the military, failing as a bodyguard, and even as a pro-wrestler ^^ he's jealous of Dick for "taking his place", and he has a lot of bagage to unpack in general. Gan was a pretty fun new character for Jason to take under his wing, and it's always nice to see some Batman Beyond villains in comic books: plus, it ties in with *Batman: Beyond the White Knight* which is also a pretty good read.
@@randallflagg3700 i love gan sm! also, can’t wait for the nightwing book to release soon (?) dyk that jason being the first robin wasn’t intentional and murphy just messed up ordering events?
John Doe, from The telltale series is one of my favorite versions of joker especially his vigilante version. I just want to give the loveable goober a big hug. 😊
Could you consider a Kevin Conroy tribute? Nov 10th marks 2nd anniversary of his death. I made a tribute to him using the classic the Animated Series toys with footage from Arkham and Injustice but I don't got ur reach, and he deserves much bigger tribute. I got a voice acting background and his voice was an inspiration for me since BtAS.
5:04 - 5:13 yes! I really enjoy the white knight run flaws and all and that will always be my explanation and It kept me entertained too that's a W in my book 🙂
The funny thing is to truly change society, to begin you need to be a joker someone that has the guts and chaos to make everyone question their identity to shift society and to finish it to completion the order and structure to implement a new system to cement a new vision, Batman and joker need each other to achieve both their visions, and the tragedy is that they both don’t see it
Batman’s real battle is not trying to change Gotham but making a new city that he can controll. I believe Bruce Wayne having complete power over a city HE created and relocated citizens would be the ideal and right decision as that would separate the innocent from suffering in the turmoil and the criminal to be caged for rehabilitation. Gotham is a madhouse that can’t be controlled and needs to start over. Bruce doesn’t realize this and is his downfall. Saving a city that wants to kill him and succeeds as when he gives up bieng Batman the city of Gotham has stayed the same since day one. In that way Bruce has failed his mission goal he has made progress but his vision will never be attained blaming himself but never seeing the darkness staring at him that he would be the best candidate to make a whole new city
I don't know about jason in the white knight, it woulf make a lot more sense if jason would get patched up then keep an eye on the joker and when joker is the most vulnerable jason would kill him
For what happened right after Jason was let go by the Joker, I'd recommend reading Sean Murphy's *Batman: White Knight Presents: Red Hood* from 2022 (it's just 2 issues long)
Joker wants Gotham to die. Bruce wants it to be saved. Bruce in order for Gotham to be saved it needs to be completed destroyed and changed from within something only the Joker can do with his pure chaotic energy as his scars of the city are deeper than Bats That is in Bruce’s best interest, for Gotham to crumble and a new city to be born and the one Bruce can control and make the tough decisions that I know he will do correctly with who he has by his side and with the person that was created by the Gotham system itself, the Joker. To destroy the system and create one that proves Joker was what happens when the system doesn’t change, but if it does, then that fulfills Jokers wish of what if Bats was right all along?

Jonkler does licks the cure off the floor in Arkham Knight, it's just animated in 2000's fashion meaning it's unintelligible.

My suggestion:
Top 5 Batman stories that deserve a animated movie adaptation.

I Just Finished The Whole Story Of The Game And I Love It This Is A Fun Game
Hopefully Telltale can keep their promise and make a season 3 of Telltale Batman once they have enough funds to continue their company again
When it came to the creation of Batman and the Joker, it only took one really bad day
It's not confirmed Bruce was supposed to kill Joker, it's just something Grant Morrison came up with just to sound smart
This man uploads every two minutes😭
2:52 is like an animated series adaptation
Joker actually did try to lick it off the floor I guess he couldn’t do it all the way
