In this movie mom didn't run away, she died which is why her daughter was living with Rachel's family. The running away didn't become a thing until H20, which ignored everything prior but H1 and 2

yeah 4's mask was decent. The whole thing about the mask is that it is supposed to be emotionless. Thats what makes him scary. In 5 they made this PISSED OFF mask. They also had lots of buildups for nothing. Like the scene where the swat team are at his house ready to suprise him and they all leave and then he shows up and kills the 2 cops left outside and Charlie inside. Could have been WAY better. Just like, who in the HAILLLL KEEPS a person for a YEAR without telling anyone? And that person doesnt eat???? Just didn't make sense.

I want this Meyers to be different she not only Dawns the mask but she stitches it to her face. Who would like to play Jamie Meyers. Also in tribute to John Carpenter the holiday of Halloween is banned in Hadonfield it is against the law to dress up hang Halloween decorations go tricker treating and to have Halloween parties this was his original treatment for Halloween 4. Hey Chris R. Notarile this could something new know one has ever done before she stitches the mask on her face and cuts her hair short she can all also run and is more athletic and agile than her uncle. This movie would ignore Halloween 5-8 but it will reuses a few plot points like people starting there own Michael Meyers club who the cops are hunting and she goes after Tommy, Lindsay and her step sister Rachel I of course would be playing Rachel’s husband a cop who has to live in the hard law labors of hadonfield and hunt for the new Michael Meyers. Well this is my movie pitch next year I’m making it happpen. But first I got to find a girl with short hair not a easy task.
This movie has the worst Shape in the series. The mask is bad & George Wilbur's performance is really bland. On top of that, we see too' much of him & we lose that sense of inhuman patience.
Lets not kid ourselves..The only good thing about this film is at the very end when Jamie stabs her mother as it reminds you of the first film but thats it..another bad sequel.

JAMIE LESTER I'd agree that the first is a masterpiece. But you can't say that John carpenter doesn't prefer the blood and gore. The bloody deaths of Halloween 2 as opposed to the first were ALL John. Rick Rosenthal didn't want a bloody sequel. And looking at his other movies is proof that he's particularly fond of the bloody messier violence.

Just look at Star Trek 2009 as an example. Or The Amazing Spider-Man. H20 is simply a sequel. And quite honestly the exact opposite of a reboot because it wasn't intended to reinvigorate the series to pave the way for sequels. It was originally conceived as a way to end the series permanently.

Agreed Rudy R. Moustapha ruined the series. Halloween 4's original idea by Dennis Etchinson and John Carpenter was a superior story. Main characters taking center stage were Lindsay Wallace, Tommy Doyle. We got cheated out of a good film because Moustapha said it was "too cerebral". What a fucking idiot... Instead we got this bullshit and lets not even talk about the disasters of part 5 and 6.
