- 7 min footage from old VHS of "The Making Of Halloween 5". I apologize for quality and that the clip is short, but I cant for God knows what can only rip the opening 7 mins from my DVD-R that I saved this to. I have the full feature but am unable to upload it. Sorry :(

Wow, great find there. You would think Anchor Bay would have put this on the divimax deluxe edition they did a few years back.
I wish Shout Factory had the distribution rights to 4, 5, and 6 since they can actually release a good deluxe edition like they did for Halloween 2 and 3.

I re-edited the film and took away "The Man In Black" as much "Tina Footage" as I could and a few more things. I ended up with a 85 minute film that plays faster & better.

Haha, yeah you have a point. I guess part of why Halloween '78 has had such longevity is because of the great mystery that surrounds him! Every other movie ( bar H20 ) tries to explain him and that is understandable but I also feel that's also why they fail.

This movie had so many flaws, like the story, the casting of annoying characters, and killing off one of the best characters early on.
And yet somehow they made "Halloween 6" even worse.
"Halloween 4" was 100 times better.
Thought 6 was better than 5, but 4 was better than both.
Halloween 6 was so confusing, I wasn't sure what the hell was going on.
I like 6 (PC) waaaaaaaay more than 5. I like 6 waaaaaay more than 4 also. The best of the thorn trilogy. I can watch either version of 6 but I prefer the producer's cut.
Cmon. Six was a total, confusing mess. And H4 had Danielle Harris, who gave the best performance ever in the horror film by a kid.
I never saw the H6 producer's cut, but still.......
amanda davis The Producer's cut clears a lot of the plot holes, and is overall better if you can get past the weird ending, I'd recommend it.

This one is so horrible....the director had no clue what the fuck he was doing.
Sadly it was Debra Hill who recommended him.
You're not wrong, but knowing what I know, I can't be as harsh on him. He was given next to NO TIME to get this film done. Secondly, he was for some reason extremely concerned with making everyone like him. He spent a lot of time on food & drinks for all of the cast. Truth is, by the end of it, few cared about making a decent movie, but they sure did have a good time. You don't ever hear anyone say anything negative about him as a person. They loved him, but his work here was the shits.
The powers that be obviously deemed it not up to par. I dunno. I'm not a fan of Myers being under control by either means but yeah, the Halloween films have been plagued by meddling.
Is there any chance you could share the full feature with me?? I would love to have this!
Halloween 1-6 Pcut are brilliant and they should have done the sequel planned for part 6 instead of the h20 crap or the rob zombie crap or the 2018 trash
Friendly disagree! I think Myers was every bit the classic stereotypical mental patient on the loose, his odd stance and morbid walk epitomizes his condition. It's cool to have fun with it, but I like to think as Myers as just a nut - an incredibly scary nut - that went ape shit on that night.
Don shanks was the very worst of all Michael. He was appaling.
