First comment in a very long time lol, but the best way I've found is demolition derby, $5000 a round at round 6 untill you activate special derby which makes it drop to 1k, also find fist fighting easy and it also gives 5k every round 6.. Both can be done as soon as activities are unlocked.
This works for all Gangs. There are also Hitman Targets that the requirement is to ride a Motorcycle. If you don't want to spend time looking for one, Aggro the Ronin to 2 Icons.
Really the best tip ever... In 10 minutes, i collect like 15000 $... Another tip is to have all the chop shop list..and when you're doing that: you can collect the swindler, the cops, taxis or some others cars :) in 30 minutes, you have enough cash to buy good stuff.. thanks again :)
Have played this game for 2 days (3rd day today) and.... it's like an improved version of san andreas. I personally like IV better but only cuz the mods make it better. Saints row 2 seems a bit dull and cut-and-pasted, tough i like the graphics over the engine of it. It requires a mid-beefy computer by standards of 2012-14 also you MUST mod the pc version to make it work properly, at least i needed to, because my character was too fast, same was the cars and the thing i like most about the game is all the features it has compared to gta games. I haven't played any other SR game but i hope SR3, SR4 and SR5 has an much improved graphics engine and look alot better than SR2.

I forgot how i made money in sr2, but after replaying sr1 and spending all my money on ammo. I know that unlocking infinite ammo for shotguns (auto shotty) and smgs (duel wield uzis) will save you soooooo much money. Once you unlock those, you can beat the game with just that (not including when rpgs are required). Ive played through sr2 at least 7 times, infite ammo duel uzis are what i used almost exclusively.
If you have corporate warfare DLC on the 360, you can unlock infinite RPG ammo at the beginning of the game by just installing the DLC. Pair that with the EDF scout/tornado trick for the nuclear plant mayhem activity and you will have infinite annihilator ammo.
if only the in game money translated into real money.
