When she said "I wouldn't say this mascara makes it look like I'm wearing falsies" I was screaming internally lmao. I thought I was the only one who caught the reference
It’s so refreshing to see an influencer that doesn’t use heavy filters. I actually love seeing her texture, not only is it more relatable but also I can see the product and how it applies so much better. Love this sm honestly
just so you guys know my 2 monthly episodes are gonna be combined into 1 youtube episode from now on so instead of 2 you’ll just get a longer video. tysm for watching!!! 💕🫶🏽
Finally someone talking about how the telescopic mascara is not that great! I spent so much time trying to wipe off extra product and de-clump my lashes. I thinned the formula twice trying to give it a chance :/
it’s a mascara with a learning curve which is so annoying but the more i’ve learned how to work with it the more i like it! i don’t mind a little clump tbh 😂
I love the telescopic lift so far. It does things to my lashes no other mascara has done. I don't find it to be clumpy but I only use two coats at most.
I haven’t tried this mascara but usually the trick to these types of mascaras is to scrape off excess product and then go through with a lash comb after applying.
I think applicator for lip related products really depend on the users lips. I for example have small lips, so having a big applicator would just make it easier for me to put it on wrong
Yes, I agree. My lips are so small that together they are probably even smaller than Nico's bottom lip so with a big applicator I'd be putting gloss all over my face 😂
Oh, for sure. I dislike small applicators because applying products is a full on workout for me, lmao, but my friends with smaller lips prefer them. Tho I have Dior's lip gloss from a different line and mine has a chunky applicator, so I wonder if it's because this one is supposed to be plumping, so they want it to be easier to control.
How do your lips always look so perfect with how many lip products you try? I need to know what lip moisturizers or lip balms or lip scrubs or whatever you use to have perfect lips!!
@@gurlnico You definitely have to be careful with exfoliation because, depending on the product, they can cause micro-tears in the skin (St Ives peach pit scrub, looking at you). Sugar is typically seen as ok on rough parts of the body because the crystals melt so fast, but it’s so formula dependent for the face and lips it’s generally just not worth it. Apparently chemical exfoliants are fine for lips, tho? (I use the Tatcha kissu lip treatment, and it’s genuinely amazing.)
I love love videos with her in it she’s just so beautiful and all the products always seem to look flawless on her somehow 😭 and she just seems like such a nice person like I wanna get my makeup done by her
The p Louise blusher is really good, I just think the colour you got isn’t one of the best but the rest are super nice and buildable. Honestly I much rather have something I can build than the rare beauty blush where I feel like there’s no room for mistakes
Nico, ur the best! I love those Revlon lipsticks. Just got the mascara, but haven't tried it yet. I wish everyone could give such great, concise, and honest reviews! 🥰🥰
Ok, So it's not just me that was getting a ridiculous amount of product picked up with that mascara wand... There were so many products for January, good start to the new year
Dude i have been using miss A for years. Also the plush blush in Nimbo is one of the best red blushes ever. Side note a rice face mask can help with the texture a lot. I made on and used it every day for like two weeks and my skin was like glass. However my acne did stand out a bit more because the rest of my skin was so smooth.
3:01 I looked at the ingredients for the Covergirl yummy gloss in the açaí shade and didn’t see any plumping ingredients. However, the third and fourth most common ingredients (C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Tridecyl Trimellitate) can sometimes be irritating on the skin even though they are safe ingredients. All of the ingredients are safe according to EWG.
So this is something I’ve learned from several makeup artists: always wipe the product off your mascara wand when you pull it out of the tube. Gaskets rarely remove enough product to make wands useable. And also, if you do wipe the brush off before use, you remove anything old and gross from the last application that could cause unnecessary clumping AND you use up the mascara at the rate expected by companies, which means you’re buying a new tube every 3-6 months, which is what’s recommended for eye health.
@@whoathatsanicememe3093 I hope it works for you - I was shocked at how great my mascara started looking once I did that! However, from experience? Tissue paper (kleenex) is SO much better to use than toilet paper. It's less lint-y!
Wow that highlighter is beautiful. I think you're skin is always gunna have texture when you highlight but if it really is making it worse then that's a con. I wonder how close I need to be to see the texture issue though. Also a hydrating concealer can have natural finish. Doesn't need to be dewy or something lmao. Another thing, some people have small lips so that small applicator is nice.
tbh no! only bc lash paradise is so much easier to use. i like TL a lot more now that i’ve figured out the best way to use it for my lashes but it’s an annoying process for a simple mascara 😂 love the length i get tho!
I love PLouise blushes, they are amazing👌🏻 they look very natural, shade range is just huge too and it looks great with or without foundation👌🏻try their Pro shadows, they are amazing
@@gurlnico Definitely worth comparing ingredients against your other lip products. Don’t be like me and ignore it… I started getting random tingling lips after some products, and then eventually went into full blown anaphylaxis. Thankfully I was at work and the hospital was close.
I cringe whenever someone applies mascara like this. Wayne Goss taught me to use a napkin to take off excess product off the wand before you apply and I have been doing that forever. Clumpy lashes are unacceptable!! Yes you waste some product but the end result of gorgeous lashes is worth it.
Hah, I just mentioned this, too-several MUAs IRL have taught me this, but also Wayne Goss, I’ve seen Lisa Eldridge do it, Mary Greenwall uses a fresh wand every application to get the same effect. But what I learned IRL is this isn’t wasting product, it’s how they assume you’ll use mascara, and is a holdover from when mascara came in cake form and wiping excess off was part of the process!
That muscara literally did nothing 😅. Maybe because it's sheer plus you have a darker skin tone. Do they have darker shades ? Those tend to show up better on darker skin when it's sheer formula
@nicoreyes THANKYOU!!! I get really confused seeing so many options on social media but your videos really help me cuz I know what I need and like. So tysm for the unbiased reviews everytime 💓
See if you can find a beauty RUclipsr you can trust - a lot of the smaller ones still give unbiased reviews, and they cover products at a faster rate than Nico can. If you don’t mind a little swearing or discussion of adult life (she sometimes has a drink, is sex positive, etc), check out Theresa is Dead. Her reviews tend to be extremely useful; we don’t have the same skin type but I’m still able to use her reviews to find products that work for me. This is mostly because she’s incredibly detailed, and this isn’t her full time job OR even what she wants to do full time, so she has no incentive to mislead.
I love the subtle hint regarding Lashgate when she talked about the mascara.
Haha same! 👀😂

Same here!!!! 🤣
The best part was when they didn’t edit out anything lol
Her skin is basically flawless, if a product doesn’t work well on SLIGHTLY textured skin I don’t think it’s worth it.
