  • It’s the perfect evolution of the Swift we know since 2004. The fourth generation is so Japanese on its shapes both outside and inside. These are my impressions.

Man, the new one is ugly! Previous one was most attractive externally.

I heard the same comment when the previous one was presented. It’s just a matter of time

@@carindustryanalysis idk way too disjointed and bumpy on the front in my opinion, it just looks a little goofy. Then again, i'm not a great fan of the last gen's standard version front end but I think the last gen ZC33s looks awesome front and back, especially the aggressive bumper, tail lights and exhaust (shame about the exhaust note but hey, it's a 1.4l turbo so can't expect much). Side view it's a little high and long but that form factor creates an incredibly well balanced and practical vehicle. Looking forward to seeing what the new generation's sport model looks like.

@@carindustryanalysisMaybe the look will grow on some - I instantly liked the older one when it was launched. Very Euro design with a bit of Aston/Ford upfront, some Polo at the rear and the hidden back door handles. The new one just doesn't flow. The Japanese do stuff like that. They don't evolve their shape - they just make it different. Just like the Hondas look like they've been smashed into back and front. 😂
