  • @JHAN1212
    @JHAN1212 13 дней назад +3

    I'm not convinced yet. Devon threw everything he had at Levan and was ripped through. Alex beat wounded Georgi relatively easily. Also since Devon is considerably older, I'm sure he's behind Alex as far as recovery. What I'm saying is Devon probably isn't in an uber strong state atm.
    I've got a feeling that in an official supermatch with a ref's grip, a peaked Devon could give Kurdecha serious trouble.
    I could be wrong tho. We don't really have a good idea of where Alex's right is at, so it's hard to tell.
    Devon definitely thinks he is the only hope against Levan due to his obviously superior top end strength over Devon, and his massive height.

  • @clintnoteastwood
    @clintnoteastwood 14 дней назад +18

    Everyone keeps talking about “when/if Devon faces so and so” in the super heavyweight class. I don’t think we’re going to get to see a lot of those matches ever happen. I think he’s most likely truly done with super heavyweight. Especially as he gets older. Being a super heavyweight in your 50s (He’s 49 I believe) isn’t good for a person’s overall health and longevity. Just my opinion! I could be wrong!

    @Mitsunari4Gunz 14 дней назад +5

    This is why I hate practice footage, it's out of order with no real rules so it's left to fans to jump to conclusions and over analyze situations. Even in that clip shown if you are a Devon fan you'll say "well look at Devon's position he's purposely disadvantaged" or if you hate Devon then you get the usual garbage. All over a practice pull where we have no idea where both athletes are mentally or trying to gain from this. Watching the full video which was completely edited poorly you can tell when Devon and Alex pull it's a bunch of fun, cheating and full blown testosterone overloads of grunts. This won't be the case in a real super match where Devon can bend the rules for a more favorable set up. The only question then is Alex just too strong and can overcome Devon's set up the way Levan did.

    As much as this is a topic that athletes tend to avoid, the result of this practice pull might have a lot to do with the current cycle of the two men. It is very possible that Devon stopped cold turkey after the Levan match as he has probably been blasting continuously for the last year for all of his abundant matches, while Kurdecha might still be on a smaller but effective cruise dose after EvW. Just something to bear in mind when analyzing these practice pulls.

    Georgi was messed up when be pulled Alex. I wouldn't put any weight on that match at all. Georgi is a gentleman, so he made no immediate excuses, but he was messed up because of his broken, borderline gangrenous foot. He hadn't really slept the day of the match, and he was hopped up on antibiotics, which completely drain you of nutrients, and can sap you of energy. They need to run it back when they're both at 100%, because that match shouldn't have happened, given what happened to Georgi prior to the match.

    Watching Devon fans cope is unreal to me 😂😂 you can argue that Devon starts in a worse position but he’s still getting pinned super easily. Imo Devons arm hasn’t healed since the levan match I’ll give him a month before he’s in good shape again.

    It’s only vitally that has higher chance of beating levan as he is taller and younger than the Canadian devon.
    If that guy up his weight and become stronger big chance of taking down levan

    👉I think that PEP should stop talking about armwrestling until he posts footage of A: himself actually training and B: himself actually pulling some people. Because I get the distinct vibe he's not actually pulled anyone and actually knows very little about it firsthand.

      So? If I'm a journalist writing sports I don't need to be a competitor myself. Are we not allowed to be fans without competing nowadays?

    • @jamesnm21
      @jamesnm21 12 дней назад +1

      @bullythebull260 of course you can be a fan. But "analyzing" a topic and talking like you know it when you have no actual experience with it just makes you sound pretentious and dumb after a while. People hate on Ryan Bowen but the guy at least participates in the sport.

      @@jamesnm21 I see what you mean but I kinda disagree. It kinda comes of as irrational instead of constructive. First of all, you have an opinion about him where you don't really know his experience level whatsoever. What makes that any different? Also by that logic, shouldn't this apply to all journalists over the world since only a fraction of them have Irl experience of their topic. Did he actually spread any true misinformation or is it all just speculations? If misinformation, why not call him out on where he is wrong to be constructive? If speculations tell him what he misses out on. Telling someone to be quiet sound awfully silly. In that case it would make more sense just scrolling past the video. As long as he sticks to entertainment and not trying to tell people how to transplant hearts or fly planes I couldn't care less. My personal issue with most armwrestling content is the general and PEP as well is the lack of creativity. Very little unique content overall and everyone make the same videos. I mean, why not add something unique...
