They’re violin shaped objects VSOs. They are usually manufactured from really shitty wood or plastic and are almost unplayable. They typically cost less than $100
I love how the violin sounds, it reaches and enriches my soul. It is just sad that in my country only kids with rich parents can afford lessons or the violin itself.
In Russia there are free centers for training on the most popular instruments than in the West, where you have to pay for everything, here it is rotting with captalization in all its glory
in some countries there are centers where they teach you for free they lend you instruments or they charge you a minimum I have been studying for a few years now and they will not fit more than 5 dollars
Actually considering the fact that a "good" (not average, good) student takes 4-5 years to be a decent violinist it's pretty normal for the "average" or the "below average" students to not be good even after learning violin for 3 years.

I love how much you care about the Teachers. The tip and the advertisement is such a good return in favor for their help to make contect for your channel.
A violin is one of the most beautiful sounding instruments in the world. But at the same time it can produce the most irritating and enraging sounds if you play it wrong. It's like an angel and a demon lurking between the strings at the same time:)
It's that "I expect the worst out of every situation, but if it turns out to be better than that, it's a good day" look. Just like you said, all of the Serbs and Albanians I've met have it =D
I love how patient these teachers were with you. I've always wanted to learn the violin, but as a child, my parents didn't have the money, and as an adult, I don't have the time or motivation anymore. You're amazing and your video was great!
Well, I wanted to learn drums. Neighbours had issue with my music & entertainment. Legal action wasn't taken against me as it wasn't loud enough. So in anger my neighbours killed my hearing with road rage. So I'm SENSITIVE to learn drums. Fvck my neighborhood. And I'm just a child. 🙄
I beg to read. Some people get married at 20 and after 5 years they get divorce. BUT some people get married at 30 and live together for anothet 30 years. Some people begin to learn marshall arts at 5 but in a match when they are 15 years old they get severe injuries and can not continue anymoe HOWERVER some peole begin this at 25 and at 30 become a champion ALL I WANT TO SAY is that it is never late for you!You have your own time line so make the best of it!You love to play violin then go ahead and hire a teacher like RIGHT NOW!
The violin is the most beautiful sounding instrument ever to be made. The complex melodies, the skill, the way the strings vibrate against the bridge and the bow in a way angels would weep. It's magical. Definitely my favorite instrument.
So why the violin is better than the piano. For me string isntruments are held very dearly to my heart. Despite not being proficient at either. My nana passed away a few months ago and left me her guitar from which she frequently played melodys and hymns on ( shes very christian..was very christian). To be gifted a viloin would also mean I could continue learning strings and also be closer to my mother as she had a violin also. This gift would not only benefit me but also those around me as I learn and record my progress learning and advancing. Even if this does not go to me I'd like you to know your videos are something I look forward to. You have great humility and a candour that is refreshing and revitalising. You treat all on your videos with respect and seeing such is something youtube needs more of. And to whomever this violin is gifted I wish all the best in YOUR musical journey. One love ~Max
I used to play violin as a child but now that I’m in my twenties I’m really gaining another whole level of appreciation for the instrument. I’d love to be able to start up my love for the violin again with a new violin as mine has definitely seen better days and needs some repair 😭 As for your very interesting question, the bass guitar has a very distinct lower frequency which adds such a depth to any song and is very useful for creating grooves and hooks (especially in the DAW age) but I would say the violin is in a whole tier of its own (and without the added technology!) The violin has an ageless appeal, and has been around for centuries. From being used in orchestras, to making its presence known in folk music and even in pop songs in a string ensemble, it’s appeal and appreciation is widespread. In having a bow, this gives the violin another point over the bass guitar, as it allows the player to add extra dynamics than a guitar player would with pizz alone. The bow allows the player to express themselves through movement which is demonstrated through the instrument - a truly beautiful thing. Emotion of the player and song can be revealed with these bow movements - say for instance you’re playing a sad ballad with slower movements? The violin will almost whine in response to these movements. Alternatively, you’re playing an excitable piece, you jump with your bow and strum at a quicker speed - the instrument now sounds thrilled! The dynamic range which this instrument has is truly incredible to achieve what music is set out to in the first place - to make people feel something. The violin is a true ode to the arts, and a gorgeous instrument to play. It’s a pleasure watching your channel. Stay groovy! 😊🎻
You win, Monique. You clearly understand how great the violin is and put thought and effort into this, so I will be sending you your brand new instrument next week. Please send your mailing address to roblandesmusic@gmail.com! Congratulations!
Thank you so much Rob! Your generosity and kindness is so humbling. I’ve sent through my details to your email. Thank you so much again. Happy holidays! 😊
The versatility of the violin is incredible. It can easily move from Bach to Bluegrass; not so with the bass. The piano is also versatile but not easily transported.
Super funny. I just started following you recently, I actually learned about you while watching Frank Tedesco's channel, on the videos where you pop out of nowhere and then you duet. You're both amazingly talented people. I wish you all the best and I will try to catch up on your other videos. Take care and stay safe 🙏 ❤️
I just saw this video, and the teachers were really patience and calm. Violin is an instrument can melt anyone if you really know to play. Of course every instrument have its own advantage, like the drums for dance, guitar for energy and piano for melody etc. But the violin and flute can really melt the soul. And speciality with violin over flute is that because its a string instrument in can reach the frequency so quick and easy. Its not for the give away violin. But this is how I feel about it.

What's amazing to me is that you can now get beginner lessons for any instrument from teachers anywhere in the world.
Some people begin to learn marshall arts at 5 but in a match when they are 15 years old they get severe injuries and can not continue anymoe HOWERVER some peole begin this at 25 and at 30 become a champion
ALL I WANT TO SAY is that it is never late for you!You have your own time line so make the best of it!You love to play violin then go ahead and hire a teacher like RIGHT NOW!

Even when pretending to be a beginner, you can tell he's a pro by the way he handles the instrument and the bow.
And he was almost always in perfect tune, and when he wasn't he did that micro movement that put the note in tune. That might arouse suspicion.
He handled the stuff by breaking it.

The violin is the most beautiful sounding instrument ever to be made. The complex melodies, the skill, the way the strings vibrate against the bridge and the bow in a way angels would weep. It's magical. Definitely my favorite instrument.

I knew i would find this comment 🤣
One love
~Max
Beautiful❤️ Well said you speak very generous and kind.
Nobody tell him a piano is technically a string instrument.
@@iammelon8839 shhhh it's a tip tap instrument

The versatility of the violin is incredible. It can easily move from Bach to Bluegrass; not so with the bass. The piano is also versatile but not easily transported.
