Holding it with just your chin is another difficult skill to learn and he did that while tuning with the other hand... I would have known he wasn't a beginner right then...

I wonder if they could teach me? And if you could actually learn over a webcam without physically being there. I would love to learn the violin. But I am beyond stupid 😫
2 things come to mind: 1. How many bad teachers did you go through to find these 3? 2. Could you imagine teaching a 10 year old violin for 6 months, only meeting their mom, then the one day the dad (Rob) picks the child up and asks for a report, he counters your concern by picking up the violin and busting out Meglovania and bleeding it into Hallelujah?
I can't help but love a prank that shows the person being pranked in a positive light and even promotes them in the very thing on which they were pranked. This has none of the guilt of schadenfreude-based pranks. Even Candid Camera pranks were merely "no harm, no foul". This is much better than that.
@@someonewhoexists7322 Indeed, *schadenfreude* is English as much as it is German, from which it was imported long ago. You'll notice your spell-checker doesn't underline it when you type it here in the comments. English is full of words imported from other languages, including many German words. Kindergarten, iceberg (eisberg), wunderkind, zeitgeist, angst, doppelganger, and ersatz are all similar examples, with the spelling only slightly modified for eisberg/iceberg. Also, here is its entry at the *Merriam-Webster English online dictionary,* where, if you scroll down, you find it also has a *"word of the day"* audio podcast you might find interesting to listen to: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/schadenfreude English is a rich language because of the combined richness of the many languages from which it has freely borrowed over the centuries. It is fun to see this continue in present times and also see other languages doing the same, importing English words.

I love videos like this because not only do we get some great entertainment, but if any of us want violin lessons we now have access to teachers that have been vetted by someone who knows what he is doing and the teachers also get some publicity for being good sports about the prank.

This is cool. Usually, these pranks seem "unfair" to the pranked. But, the fact you promoted all three is classy move.
These guys be like: *YEARS OF ACADEMY TRAINING, WASTED*
I wonder if they could teach me? And if you could actually learn over a webcam without physically being there. I would love to learn the violin. But I am beyond stupid 😫
Great video! They were good sports. I'm hot for teachers however!
Toy Story 😂
🤣🤣
Me too
2 things come to mind:
Is schadenfreude really an english word?? Because I know it from german😂
Also, here is its entry at the *Merriam-Webster English online dictionary,* where, if you scroll down, you find it also has a *"word of the day"* audio podcast you might find interesting to listen to: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/schadenfreude
English is a rich language because of the combined richness of the many languages from which it has freely borrowed over the centuries. It is fun to see this continue in present times and also see other languages doing the same, importing English words.
That's so schadenfreude of you.

This was fun, but man...
the look on their faces when they felt duped and realized they won’t have a new student, aka a regular paycheck...
I can’t say that they looked thrilled or as entertained as the youTuber, I kinda felt bad for them.

Yeah-
its true but u can see how Rob recommends all those teachers😅pretty sure they get their new student because of Rob
I dunno... 3.2 million views and he recommended them and provided links to their socials... it's free real estate.
@@swiper1131 Yep. As a viewer I felt a little uncomfortable at their reactions, I wanted it to end feeling a bit more satisfied with laughter and smiles. I’m sure it worked out for the teachers and they can look back, laughing and smiling about it now.
See... As professional teachers, although they are probably getting paid to teach him... I can imagine some being pissed about the deception. Professionals don't like having their time wasted. Sometimes it not about the money.
Although, it's hard to find anybody that can take a joke nowadays.
Besides getting paid they got 2.5 millions views of advertising. Its to bad he didnt go deeper to show outtakes and bios of each teacher to make it more effective
@@ayandak47 that is also true!
@Random sht that wasn't my point. But appreciate your response.
I'm sure the prankster can teach these teachers a thing or two as there's always room to learn more. I guess what I was trying to acknowledge was the fact that some ppl don't like being duped or feel like their time was wasted.
Some might interpret this attempt at a joke as insulting. U know how ppl can get.
Still a great video tho
