  • Langur Burja, also known as Jhandi Munda in India, is a traditional Nepali and Indian gambling game played with six-sided dice, each featuring unique symbols instead of numbers: spade, heart, diamond, club, flag, and face. Players bet on these symbols, aiming to match as many as possible when the dice are rolled. Originating from rural communities, it’s commonly played during festivals, especially Dashain and Tihar in Nepal. The game fosters social interaction, excitement, and luck-based strategy, similar to the Western game of Crown and Anchor. Langur Burja has retained cultural significance, symbolizing shared heritage and community bonding across generations.
