Major respect to AJ and Sky for stepping up on the harsh vocals. Not only do they sound great but playing their instruments at the same time really demonstrates the dedication to the craft and keeping Issues functional.
AJ is such a badass. Ripping those low-string djenty riffs while doing powerful metal screams.
Sky to me is more of a mixed bag. He brings more variety for sure, but I feel like much of his screams sound like a death metal parody.
@@FairyCRat Haha yeah I like Sky's style and the variety it brings. Especially the low grunts that help sections explode. I did get the impression that they are still figuring out their voices especially while playing and moving. They'll continue to improve I'm sure :)
Wouldn't have to if they wouldn't have kicked Michael out to make it the Tyler Carter show
@@maurelius21 wasn't really the reason the got rid of Michael. He wasn't really putting in the effort to help further himself to help further the band. Either way, it all worked out for both parties at the time. Michael got to do his own project and Issues got what they wanted.

not to be that guy but I like to sit in the back/middle and observe the talent being presented to me. I’ve been in too many pits where I’ve gotten the shit punched out of me or hurt and it’s just nit worth it. I pay to watch and enjoy. Not have my face in the ground.

Peter Jenkins I was at the Orlando house of blues show and if it went anything like it went down there the pit didn’t really pick up until halfway through coma. After the screams came in in coma it got insane. So good.

I saw Issues for the first time in San Antonio and didn’t really know you guys before the show. You guys ran through after y’all meet and greet and I had no idea who you guys were until I saw y’all on stage 😂 Sky’s stage presence blew me away and sold me on you guys

So I worked security for the last year warp tour in San Antonio,tx and it was the first time I ever heard of issues and I’ve been a fan since then, also AJ and sky were doing the vocals already by then and upon becoming a fan I realized y’all had a vocalist who did the screams well I just wanna say I think y’all sound amazing and so much better with aj and sky on vocals I would’ve never known y’all had that prior too !

I like it. I think it's mostly because AJ tunes his guitars much lower now, also it makes it heavier, bringing it more in line with the material on their last 2 albums.
