Overwatch is already 4v4 there is always 1 person on every team doing nothing
That's simply untrue. That person is clearly there to increase the rate at which the enemy team's ult increases.

Might as well commit to the idea of Overwatch 4 for the number of players and make it so that people keep asking about Overwatch 3 as a strat

Yeah but 5v5 was terrible for queue times. By moving to 4v4 an making it a mobile game, queue times are gonna improve for sure

This is sad... I miss 6 v 6 so much😭 the game has lost so much , now i try to play and even if i win i dont get any satisfaction... Its always counterswitching and not really fun, i really would love an overwatch classic
it happened to me once, except the other team just kept leaving one by one until there was only kiriko left and it was 1v4 and after a while of bullying she left.
To be fair, the screen is a lot less overloaded at least, so that's nice. A 4 v 4 overwatch should mostly just be a tdm in my opinion. Dps v dps kinda hero shooter

4v4 team death match is one of my favorite modes, and typically it’s 2 dps. It’s so fun. If Overwatch went 4v4 I would be absolutely fine. I think the reduced healing makes the game faster and more fun.
Or they could just reduce in combat healing by 20-30% across the board…

They just did that test event with variations on character kits/abilities. Add in a Street Fighter style character pick choice and you've got a good shakeup.

the only way doom fist would reserve bug fixes is if he becomes a support so blizzard starts to care
they could completely rework tank so that they aren't tanks anymore. smaller hitboxes, more survivable than other roles thru their abilities (rather than raw health pools), have cc.
Tanks will always take massive damage as long as they have huge hitboxes. If they make them tanky enough to tank all that without dying, they will feel unfair unless theyre kind of useless offensively. So just make them take less damage in the first place by making them small like everyone else.

4v4 should actually be a gamemode, unironically.
His mercy is a super toxic player that Duo sabs most of the time, you should report them/avoid them. They continuously make ult accounts to throw and trolling teammates in vc.
4v4 was in arcade as team death match. They even did a comp season for it. I did not enjoy it.
Overwatch 6 will just be single player story mode
Overwatch 7 is an autobattler
How did the game not automatically shut down? Isn’t there a minute window when someone leaves at the start of the match?
If that’s over watch 3 I played overwatch 4. Everyone dc’d except me (dps) and my support and the enemy team supports. So 2v2 I wish I had the video to send you but it was interesting.

I’m a ball main in a Mauga + Hog are the only two tanks in the game game. It’s safe to say I’ve stopped playing overwatch

To be honest, I think the best thing the game could do with 5v5 is make it 2 tanks, 2 dbs and 1 healer. We all know a healer lol, we have plenty of damage role player and the game need to already bring back 2 tanks

4v4 honestly feels like it makes a bit of sense if its 1-2-1 since 50% of the roster is dps

4 v 4 is atrocious, there's more openings now, and if both teams have flankers it becomes which one gets to instantly delete the other within a fraction of a second. And what's the point of being a Tank or sometimes a support when fast time to kill is just too good.

PVE isn't about having a balanced team, so what's your point?

If they went 4v4 I’d say this would be the route as it’s the norm, they could tweak the numbers to balance it out, what’s the point in having almost 20 DPS if there’s only one per team, they have half the amount of tanks and supports, so 1,2,1 makes sense

Overwatch 2 should have taken away a healer instead of tank . Make them actually care for the team instead of being trash dps
Nah this guy was literally asking to get diffed lol. On winston after second fight, he could've jumped earlier. There's no reason a rein should be able to catch up to you so easily. On hog. Hello? I know you were thinking squishies are your main priority, but you got that hog to 1 hp so many times with your ult and just went "not my problem anymore, I'm now free to kill the squishies". He didn't just magically vanish. He's 3 ft to your left, dude.😂

I don't like the idea of backtracking 5v5, but if the best option for Tanks is to run the 2 with self-sustain because they take damage so easily they really need to do a 6v6 weekend with the squished health.
