There's much more depth to the game than is apparent on first look. Androids generate Ki passively and when hitting with melee attacks, but can't charge unless they are at maximum Ki (for sparking activation). Android 19 and 20 specifically can absorb ki blasts by using Super Perception, restoring their own Ki in the process. The stronger the blast, the more Ki is gained. They also both get the ability to drain life from the opponent, draining them of Ki and health and giving it to 19 or 20 respectively when they grab. Characters that can't fly or stay in the air for long like Roshi, Hercule, or Yajirobe actually have faster movement speed on the ground and good jump attacks. They are the only characters who can "Run" when grounded, so their best strategy is to bait enemies into fighting them on the ground or close to it so they have the advantage. Scouters, while not destroyed, allow the character to easily search for a lock on from further away and through cover. For now this is kind of a useless little bonus, but people might eventually start using the stages to hide and break lock on to get unavoidable special attacks off. This is all stuff spelled out and explained on the official website for the game produced by Bandai Namco.
I saw chat mention Metal Cooler has healing strats of his own. He seems pretty cheese-y, he has instant transmission and can heal 40% of his current health, and you can use him multiple times in team battle. But that does just mean you can use two of him in ranked since he's worth 7 DP.
Ok so, I know I gave a big lore rundown on one of the previous videos, but this time the only character I'd be going over is Dr. Wheelo. He's an evil mad scientist from one of the earlier Z movies, and his plan was to put his brain inside Goku's body to become the world's strongest. There's not that much of note cause he's kinda cookie cutter (even though I think he has a cool design), so I guess I might mention that I really like his TFS DBZA incarnation, which wrote him as a completely misunderstood scientist with good intentions who happens to have an evil assistant. It's of note because I think it's funny, one of my favorite twists on the characters. I will also mention he seems to have a pretty big role in Dragon Ball Heroes, which is... a can of worms in itself. But they both give him a human design and an alternate robot design that has more human proportions that the one in this game, and I also think they look pretty cool. Does he scale to Beerus? ...According to the wiki, there's a part in DB Heroes where he ends up dodging attacks from both SS4 Xeno Goku and SS4 Xeno Vegeta at the same time... And DB Heroes likes to treat SS4 as around the same level as blue... So I could see an argument that DB Heroes' incarnation of Wheelo might scale to that level? It's kinda nutty. DB Heroes is insane, it's basically licensed fanfiction.
hahaha I just discovered the Dr. Wheelo dash attack by accident about an hour before you uploaded this video. People really had no idea how to deal with him
Them saying he was from gt in the chat kinda pissed me off. I understand why so many streamers don’t listen to chat, there’s so many people in there talking out of there ass it’s crazy
@@spammerman7556 I love it bro seeing the cheese's fight each other to become the ultimate cheese. Thankfully the game has custom battles to fall back to in case something game breaking occurs in ranked
Custom battles can't provide a good challenge either, the AI is destroyed by sparking ultimate spam, it has no counter to it and you just destroy them. Meanwhile if they're at a high level cpu and you try to actually fight them head on, enjoy getting countered to death with inhuman reaction speeds. The entire game is flawed unfortunately, it's good dumb nostalgic fun but if you want to actually get serious and explore the mechanical depth you run into so many issues.
Janemba also has this. You can't avoid it by any other means than perception. This game has no integrity, and until they decide to nerf the cheese in this game, there's no point in learning the depth that could be there.

Diaphragm smiling like he aint got the opponents mad and crying on the other end with these degen strats 🤣😭

the heal is also super quick. literally had matches in which just smashing the opponent away from me let me regen 2 bars without any issue.

Could you tell me whats the input for it? I cant figure it out. I tested everything and dont get any unblockable
Dr. Wheelo is from the 2nd Dragon Ball Z Movie, The World’s Strongest.

So the meta is basically 1 strong character to counter the super armor cheese and a bunch of low costs to counter the healing/stalling cheese. Nice!
Welcome to arena fighters

The problem is the enemy can be underneath you and your character can’t hit. But many raged quit fighting large enemies lol

Transforming into great saiyaman vs a giant is so dumb lmao

The problem with arena fighters.
Just use movement the strat is 1 day old, people will find a counter. It didn't even look overpowered against beerus and they had the same rank
You can time your vanish as well right before the attack hits
