@Wayz I was watching Danny Widget's video test and the weird thing for me too is the 8K video looked better for me than the 4K one even when my monitor is just at 4K resolution.
Coming from a Pixel 7 Pro, having a S23 Ultra, I still prefer the main camera image processing on the Pixel. I find it more pleasing and superior. To me, the Samsung "vividness" just look too yellow, not vibrant. Just yellow. I much prefer how Google isn't afraid of letting darks being darks whilst also keeping the detail in them, and how the tone is more natural looking, even if obviously processed. But still, the S23 Ultra is much an improvement over the S22 Ultra IMO, a phone which I sent back after less than two weeks.
After few updates, S23 ultra just demolish pixel 7 pro, but lets be honest, much more complete camera setup on Ultra then any others phone on the planet, you can prefer some pictures more on another phone in some situation, but over if we looks, S23ultra is better in 7 from 10 situation then any other phone on the market!!

Nah, maybe in the past but not now, ive never seen a Samsung with such punchy colours until now, it takes a great photo, been using it now 2 week and quite amazed with the improvement compared to my previous samsungs

Set ISO to 50, Shutter speed at 15-30sec, adjust focus, use tripod for stability... etc. Just because it wasn't called "Astrophotography mode", doesn't mean "Astrophotography" wasn't a function the phone had. S9+ had biometric sensors, wasn't called "biometric mode" but I could scan my heartrate and details relevant to it...

Judging against an Sony A7C and Fujifilm GFX 50s…I’d choose the iPhone 14 as the back up camera. Zoom is overrated with phones e.g. the Samsungs wide lens delivers much better than the zoom. Likewise the iPhone 1x is much better than 3x. When it comes to the most usable standard images. iPhones takes it.
tbh for the actual pricetag is the Pixel 7 Pro a nobrainer and I gues for the most ppl out there it will me MORE than enough, I still use a Pixel 3a from 2019 and its still a beast with it camera for the price I payed in 2019 (320€) I would love to switch to the Iphone, but all prices over 1200€ are... heavy for a phone... :D

All 3 have improved so much that I don't think either one of them is "the king." They're all amazing, and it will finally come down to personal preference and what you intend to get the phone for and how much you're willing to pay.
Typing this on my S23 Ultra 😍 By the way, how did you activate 200MP RAW? BE it the native camera app or ExpertRAW, S23Ultra can only do 12 MP and 50 MP RAW, there's no option for 200MP RAW. 📸
Click on the aspect ration option on the top. You will get various options like 3:4 (12 mp), 3:4 (50 mp) and 3:4(200 mp). You can choose the options from there

Really a difficult one... iPhone sometimes produces more interesting photos and videos. The photos sometimes just feel more fun to look at. Also the details on the shirt ain't as bad as on S23. On the other hand, S23 can give better sharpness on the object of interest, especially if you have enough time to stand still, go through camera modes and stuff. But I think (please give me your opinion on this) that, when you want to take a photo in a rush, iPhone may be the best option. Shutter speed on S23 is slower so it may end up blurred and what not. iPhone just does it fast, with no need to select modes and things like that, and gives out a great photo. Though sometimes colors are better on s23, but many times not... S23 may be great if you have time to go through options, play with the camera settings and things like that. Also, it has 8k and such a good zoom that I don't actually see why would somebody ever use it? Just, why? To spy on your neighbors maybe... This really doesn't feel like a mobile phone camera, more like a professional one.

You threw me off completely by calling the S23U's shot "200MP Raw". 50 Mp is the highest Raw file that the S23 could output. Mistakes could happen, but trust is essential as well.
Except the battery which is average even after having a capacity of 5000mAh, the pixel is the real king of photography and AI features. Plus major android updates on day 1, hope battery gets better in android 14.
S23 ultra also has object eraser (which does the same tasks as the pixel)... Built-in in the gallary app.... Maybe you missed it at 8:22

The reason why the Pixel 7 pro takes too long to capture in astrophotography mode is not phone. But the default camera app itself.
I don't fully trust these reviewers. They can fiddle with the camera settings to make the phone they prefer look better.

Ben Samsung has photo and shadow eraser also. It was there first than googles magic eraser. Most people just don't know how to use it.
For your info, S23 has built in object eraser tool, works just as fine as pixel.
