24,451 viewers can't be wrong - this is a lovely recording with Kato showing real soul and playing some nice, joyous notes in great company. Real fun music - not about Gold Medal academic standards, although some here are capable of it.
I didn't notice his deficiencies as a trumpet player until his detractors got active. But if you can't sing in English at least don't imitate someone who can. Louis Armstrong didn't have a good voice but he had presentation so you didn't care. This guy as a singer has nothing.

I have to say I love Kato’s trumpet playing and singing. He brings a lot personality to the band. Also appreciate Tamara’s great clarinet playing.
