That's how much it cost you to send it TO Amazon for them to fulfill your orders as an Amazon seller, plus the additional fees and percentage that they take out when the products sell. But for the merchants who are shipping their own orders and fulfilling orders themselves the shipping can eat all the profit. It's hard to raise your prices enough that they will sell and also be able to cover your costs and have a little left over. These platforms are not designed for small businesses or individual owners... Craftsman .....artists, unless you just happen to be in high-demand.

I m trying to send my first stock to amazon FBA, I have only 1 box to send with 59 units inside the box and box dimensions are 52*50*35 cm and weight of the box is 19.3 kg, it’s showing me 3 warnings in packing details, what should I do know, shall I put my units into 2 boxes or ignore the warnings, by the way I’m using existing ASIN to create the listing. Please help me if someone know the answer

and like .40 cents per square foot per month for storage space. I'm being charged 14 to ship a 65 dollar product and i paid only 5 dollars to send in 26 units weighing 4.5 pounds in a 14x6x6 box...i want to generate 50 dollars per unit so i charge consumers the extra 15...

@Mimiz1166 you can't unless you make the product. I do handmade goods. If you buy regular items at wholesale, you will always have to compete for tiny profit. You want a niche. Design something cool and have an overseas company manufacturer it on the cheap. This will only last a short time. Maybe half a year... Once the manufacturer or other entrepreneurs find out they can list too, its over. New item... 🫡
I’m loosing all my profit I’ve sent products only 1 or 2 lbs and it’s costing 15-25 bucks

The point of the video was to debunk the expensive shipping myth. It’s very cheap to ship.
For the fees they only take fees from the sale price which you’ll know before you even purchase an item to sell

No once you ship to the fulfillment centre that's it Amazon pays for shipping to the customers afterwards
