Hi, Comment from Japan. will it fit the Apple MacBook Air (M2, 2022) 304.1 x 215 x 11.3 mm? or should i consider for one size smaller size 13.3inch?

    Another great review video, Ben.
I have often considered adding a portable monitor, but I always feared that the ones that mount onto an existing laptop screen might have the same effect you captured in this video. If I ever get one, I'll probably lean towards one of the currently available Asus models with a built-in kickstand.

If I bought two of these Deux Max displays to have three screens displayed as seen with the Trio Max. Would this be possible?

I would think if the unit was all aluminum you would probably be having the same issue as with the little laptop. Much to heavy and the screen falling over.

    Hello, I just got mine.
Do you have any updates on the magnets? Mine do not stick to the laptop, they keep falling off with thr screen. I did clean the laptop before attaching the magnets....

Ben what laptop would you recommend for someone that is just starting in video editing. I'd like to keep it under or around $2k if possible. I am leaning towards the Asus or Levovo. I need a 16" or 17" screen. I also prefer 32 GB ram, 1 TB SSD and a fast transfer of video for uploading. Thank you so much for all your great videos. I really appreciate any advice you can give me.

I would check out the Legion 5... you can upgrade the RAM to 32GB of RAM post purchase and the purchase price is well below $2k for the upgrade path you're looking for. Also it is currently on sale on Lenovo's website. Here is a link to the Legion 5 - geni.us/Legion5-6800H

      @@BenGKaiser would the Dell 17” be a consideration if I got the i7 12700h or i9, 32 ram, 1tb ssd, nvidia rtx 3070?
Anything else I should add to it?
Or just stay with the Legion 5??

I just dont like the long cable hanging around
They should find a way to put the power port in the non moving part of the monitor, so the cable can be kept short and does not move around with moving screen.
and they should make it a little thin.

Wish they also made a touchscreen version of this portable display...
Would've been a perfect thing for designers that need touchscreen capabilities...
Easily convert a powerful laptop into a touch device, wonderful stuff!

Great thoughts! They are currently redesigning the Trio model, so maybe they'll add the touch screen feature.

I get its use case and who it's for, bu me personally, I'd save a few bucks and just get an XP-Pen Artist 13 Pro. I lose half an inch, but I get better AdobeRGB and I can draw on it. Same if it were a Huion display. They both only need USB C too, but this things built-in stand and attachment thing are the real highlights

Just few days ago it came to my mind about getting a monitor as well to connect to my newly bought laptop. Its a Gigbyte AERO 16 with UHD+ screen that I got it for 1200 usd inc tax which was a steal tbh. While the picture quality is phenomenon with Samsung Amoled panel but the 60z makes it more to desire for more. The lag is annoying to say the least. Missed a trick, could have bought Asus Advantage 2021 edition with R9 5900HX & 6800M 12 g with 1080 p 300hz screen for smoother experience and an open box 28" 4k 60z screen for the same price. One thing for sure, AMD is miles ahead of Intel for general users. In May I got the Strix G15 with R9 5900HX with 3050 (returned it) and it blew me away with the speed, the boot time was blazing fast. I have been using Dell Inspiron from 2016 with I5 6200U. In comparison, the Aero's I7 12700H feels slow (mostly the boot time) and laggy. I don't game, that was the biggest reason I choose the ultra high resolution screen.

So monitor pulls laptop's lid to the back and you say it is "totally ok" with 90 degrees angle of the lid, which is absurd. You get paid or not, you should tell the truth. You shoudl also mention that this system will break your hinges in no time. So if you want to break your hinges quicker buy this monitors. I'm gonna buy external monitor that can be placed next to the laptop and do exact same job.
