I was undecided about this quilt kit, Wrestling between loving the pattern and fabrics and "do I need more fabric" After watching your video I decided on an early birthday present to me.Thanks for the clear instructions. I look forward to starting this when my kit arrives.

I love that you are using Quilters Select ruler and rotary cutter. They are the best. This is a beautiful quilt.

Just started Arabella. I am cutting my own fabric and I’m started on second block.

So glad you are teaching this one. I found the instructions and rulers hard to understand (maybe I’m just getting old). Anyway you’re a great teacher!

If you have an Accuquilt cutting system, the 8" Qube works perfectly for this quilt.

When I did the Arabella BOM at my LQS, I made a black & white version at the same time. It's stunning!

We are planning on adding a month 2 video! This way you can walk month by month through the process! Be sure to sub so you know when it comes out!

Starting this project with pre-cut version as cutting is my least favorite part of quilting, thank you for this lesson!

I have a question. I saw two black lines and a red line on your machine. Did you draw those on a tape and stick them down on the machine? If so what are the distances as a guide for straight sewing? Thank you. I enjoy your videos they are very explanatory and easy to follow.

Would it help to spray starch fabric first

I’m signed up to start Arabella this month from Stitchin Heaven but I haven’t gotten the 1st month yet. Was I forgotten?

40 weight thread, what needle size are you using? Bobbin thread also 40 weight? Aurifil cotton (only comes in cotton maybe)?

When working with a Batik, a Microtex needle (I use #80) works best. I also use a poly thread, 40 wt., because it lays very flat.

When the camera person is looking at the side view when cutting, it’s really out of focus

I just watched your video of the Arabella block one and I have several questions. You detailed how to make accurate block units trimming them down to size. And you mentioned that you were using a scant quarter inch seam. I noticed your washi tape a bit off just a bit of your alignment to your needle. I want you to go back and watch the video the part where you put together the final square. On one of the units, you took a big bite --more than a quarter inch to sew it to the center unit. On one sewing the block, your fabric shows even on the side of the foot, then in another seam to sew the fabric in relations to the foot is really off. I am confused.
