Awesome we're glad you're here! We didn't think this was our most interesting video so feel free to check out a different one haha. We love Jerome! He's great
Well you made it back to Norfolk.....good to see you walking around Waterside and just stayin' slow on your feet too. I have worked in Downtown Norfolk, lived across from Hampton/Phoebus in Willoughby Spit on the beach, and lived in a high rise across from Waterside on the Portsmouth side, many moons ago. I wish I could have met you while you were there but I think I already have, here, lol. Hope you've had wonderful holidays and a safe trip down south to Florida. I'll be on the lookout for more of the adventure.
Brett looks like Gardner McKay (wikipedia him) and when you are done reading his story wikipedia Donald McKay (his Grandfather). 🙂 Hey! if you are going back to the Great Dismal Swamp again RUclips boaters Acorn to Arabella is parked right now at the North End. Boat Name is Arabella and I have the AIS but won't publish it here.
@@Bretandmarisa Of all the sailing RUclipsrs you guys are the most up to date. I know how many hours it takes to edit a half hour of video. Great work.

So sick to have an inverter! Great video! Can't wait to see what is next! 🎉

Va. Cut affords you the opportunity to stop in Great Bridge, restaurants, grocery stores, provisions . Free tie up by the bridge.
True, but it's also pretty exposed (we've heard) past great bridge
That’s my favorite protein bar 😲
Good stuff!
Thanks Charles!

Fabulous but they worry me ! I think they know what they’re doing. 🤷🏻♀️
LOL. Just so ya know it is more like (pa-tow-mic) river. That is the river I am off of. Hope to meet if you are up next year.
Where are you off of there? We didn't explore up that river at all
@@Bretandmarisa North bank of river just up from Whitestone. Great deep water marina called Yankee Point up a protected creek.
@sv.alannah that's awesome, we considered going up to DC but it's a long way up there
WOW, holy ….. WONDERFUL. Maybe it’s the pot 🤷🏻♀️
Sorry about the crab traps! Something we always have to navigate in the Bay tributaries!
It just comes with the territory! It's not too bad but you definitely have to stay vigilant
Swamp 🫵
We love the swamp
@@Bretandmarisa so do we! We'll be heading there this spring.

Oh that would've been cool to see them, I think we must've missed them
@@Bretandmarisa According to AIS they are still sitting at Chesapeake Camp Ground in the canal. You had to have gone right past them.
@Tillersweep we are a little behind on videos so we've been past there for a bit
