Your tutorials are soo helpful! I'm a university student of game design and your workflow is so easy to understand. Your aesthetic decisions are just as amazing! Thank you for the video!
This tutorial is great for intermediate and advanced SP users as you tell mostly 'what' you're doing and not 'how' you're doing it. Could you make more tutorials for beginners in which you explain all the technical and procedural aspects? Your work is truly amazing!
Very impressive how your detailed grungy materials work well with shiny and clean modern design. For me you outdid original reference for sure. And I agree that it's not necessary to switch to zbrush if you just need move and smooth brushes at initial modeling state, most dcc can deal with this too.
I'm really excited for the unreal video! That's a big part I'm missing. I always use Marmoset so setting up simple lighting scenes for props in Unreal is really really welcome!
Really glad I found this page. Your explanations and thought process behind why and how you do every step in the piece is truly invaluable. And even when you dont cover area that you didnt feel like including, you had already led the viewer along with you so that we know what you maybe wouldve done. Definitely sharing your page around. Thank you so much
Can you do a step by step detailing some of the tips you mentioned but didn't necessarily show? Like how you actually set up your UV's in groups to be imported into Unreal. Or like how you were able to paint on multiple patterns with overlapped UV's. These are just examples, but anything you can share step by step would surely be helpful! Thank you in advance! I've subscribed :)👍
One of thee best series tutorial videos all of them clear and everything. So awesome. Best channel for these kinds of vids too. Thanks for another awesome one! 😸🙌
Such a wonderful sculpt! Why did you decide to not go with one fbx with many UDIMs and separate them in UE4, but several fbx with one 0-1 UV each? Also, what resolution are you working in Painter?
Do I need to know 3D modelling (or drawing) to become a texture artist? Will I lose time trying to learn 3D modeling first? Also can I be self taught or should I follow some courses?
Amazing as always. May I ask. How dense is the mesh and what resolution are you using for the UV maps. I am having problems getting such straight and clean lines. When I paint always end up with very jagged lines.
oh this reminds me can you do some makeup tutorials in substance? I've never seen one I completely understand if you don't have the time though Please ignore this comment if that's the case Great tutorial btw! :)
Hey Chun Chun, is there a setting that im missing in substance because when i import textures from substance to blender they are not sharp at all. They seem low rez even though i export the maps at 4k. Thanks. Awesome tuts BTW :).
If you check the exporter texture on its own in Photoshop or something and they look fine, then it's a blender issue you have to figure out. I don't know blender to know why.
You may also need to check your textile density, regardless of the texture size if the model has low textile density it will always look like low quality
Really great! I really enjoyed this video. The 3D view in Painter looks SO good and I was wondering - did you change any settings to make the 3D view look any better than how it comes standard?
Your channel is a goldmine, learned so many new cool tricks

Cool
These breakdowns are amazing thank you so much! Are you taking part in the newest artstation challenge?
no I am not, with RUclips content there is no time. lol
I didn't know how you did the multiple uv map, how? and thank you for the video it's very informative.
Thanks) You are great))
So professional! Amazing! Thank you :))
Awesome
WOW LOOK SO WELL 🤞🤞🤞👍❤
Really nice breakdown, definately gave me some ideas for my workflow.
this is awesome! would love to see how you retopology and do your UV maps! do you use maya, zbrush or topogun for your retopology?
Artruism Digital can you please make a video on photoshop tips for texturing artist
fantastic
Thanks
This turned out amazing, how did you render this hero shot for this tutorial?
Will you do an Unreal Engine tutorial/overview of how you bring things and set them up in there?
Yes will be in the next video.
@@ArtruismDigital Thanks!!
Amaazing!
What are you typically doing your unwrapping in @Artruism? Any tips for gigantic hard surface sci fi models?
She said uvlayout in another comment.
cool~
I am honestly very impressed by the CLEAN UV's. did you do it inside Maya or something like RizomUV?
Used uvlayout.
Great

the UDIMs are not all in 0 -1, I kept it same as in substance. I will try out the FBX thing.

Amazing as always.

The uv has to be layout the right way.
@@ArtruismDigital Thanks so much for that :)

I've never seen one
I completely understand if you don't have the time though
Please ignore this comment if that's the case
Great tutorial btw! :)
I have done it in a course.
其实UE是可以用UDIM的,就是需要自己手动编程象限。
I'm just gonna use the simpler way. Lol
@@ArtruismDigital 对了,刚想起来最近做项目的时候发现目前版本的UE只要开启虚拟纹理就可以导入并自动合并UDIM纹理,还节省纹理采样器。
IS there anywhere I can download this mesh and practice texturing it?
Amazing, how long did it take to model?
The face area was done before, everything else a week of my free time.
Did you install your tablet properly? I see the circle going around it every time you push down
Amazing work, what is the name of the software to put the reference image always on top of the software (10:03) ?
It's called pure ref, it's free.
@@ArtruismDigital Thanks :)
What is this ultimately for?
wow this was really neat! i really like the style you put into it had a nice break down to it
Thank you!

What's the name of the song?
It's free RUclips music.
希望出中文教程
我有两个课程在翼狐和about cg, 但是很多东西不知道中文怎么解释。
@@ArtruismDigital 好的

I will!
😃

It's my HDR I think, test out different ones can make the lighting better.
