Opening with a criticism is a logical approach to a review, and it cuts directly to the point, so thanks man. I was debating the 26L or the 35L, so this helps with that question as well. Where are you finding the black-on-black design?

Thanks! If you need to carry bulkier stuff in your EDC, definitely get the 35L. Because how slim 26L is, it's tough to pack anything other than small or pliable items. I found it on TNF's website but I'm guessing it might be sold out by now.

Hey mate, just 2 cents, if you're particular about your backpack it can be hard to find the one for you. most likely you end up going the route of small independent producers that make higher quality gear than mass manufacturers like tnf. As, as for the waterproof zippers, it's not that clear, see they come with a trade of, are harder to zip open and closed, and I've had few ppl say they hate using them. And preferred smoothly opening of ordinary zippers at the expense of water proofness Allegedly they also last not as long. In this case though I think I was about the costs because I've seen EDC bags from tnf after couple of years of use, and they look horrible. For materials You want higher deneer cordura and if you want waterproof: x/x-pac or dyneema..

I totally agree. The qualities of the fabric from these big companies like TNF seem to go down with every iteration. Even on this backpack they say they used the same fabric as their Base Camp duffle but I can tell it's a lower quality. I think this backpack looks good but lacks in functions. Thanks for your thoughts!
