Is it normal that the elbow protection isnt really at the elbow but a bit more down? I ordered the jacket and I dont know if i have to push it up more.
It can be adjusted higher. Open the velcro at the bottom of the elbow armor pocket, slide the elbow armor up then secure the velcro patch that is approximately one inch higher up the sleeve than the one you opened to gain access. This will raise the armor about an inch. - Van
We are not able to offer the RST airbag range here in the US at this time due to some licensing issues. Our hope is this will change for the 2023 season. We had a very large order in for the RST airbag suits and jackets for this season that could not be filled due to the above mentioned reason. - Van
Just bought the RST S-1 jacket, the zipper tab for the main front zipper is on the left side instead of the customary right side, are they all this way?
Im 5'9 160lbs i never buy anything with euro sizes. I have a small leather jacket from speed and strength. My waist is 30 and my chest is 37-38. Will the 42 US fits? Or is it too big? Trying to decide ordering one on your website right now
I’d get a 40/50 for a snug fit. I made this mistake last year and got a 42/52 RST textile jacket. Had to give it to my brother. He’s a lil bigger. I’m a similar height and weight as you. 5’8.5 155lbs

You can use the Tech 10 with the RST V4.1 Race Suit as that suit has plenty of stretch panels to manage an airbag deployment. As for the bikes I would say both of them would be excellent on the race track. - Van

I have a question when I push down my kill switch on my 2018 Yamaha R3 and I go to start sometimes it doesn’t start I just push the button and nothing happens some people said to leave the kill switch on and just turn the bike off with the key and my switch would be good but I heard it kills the battery to leave on is it true?
As far as I know you should be able to use the kill switch to turn the bike on and off while leaving the key on and it should restart. That said it is not impossible there is something unique to this model. With this or any bike you can leave wht kill switch in the on position and turn the key off without causing any drain on the battery. - Van
I am also 5'-11" but 32 waist 180 pounds and bought the RST in 54, fits perfect. I also have a Dianese in 56 that fits ok, but can rock a hoodie underneath. I might be able to get a thin hoodie inside the RST but didn't try yet.

We do not have any RST textile pants in stock at this time, hope to add them next season. The waterproof membrane has two layers that are rather thin. While I do not know the exact thickness I can tell you they fit under the jacket with no issue. - Van
Alpine stars back protection fits perfect with this one. I have a womens version and its very comfy.

If you want a snug fit go with the 50 Euro, for more operating room go with the 52 Euro. - Van

They are not super far apart IMO. Both are excellent with the EVO 4 being a little better. Slight difference. - Van

You would be a size large in alpha jackets or a 52 in euro sizes. You should get a good fit from either one. - Van

How does this jacket compare to the RST Ventilator X?
Both jackets are excellent. The S1 has a more sport oriented style and the Ventilator X includes the back insert. - Van
