Great video. Just replaced 4 injectors on a 1.6tdi cayc, plus new return lines o rings and clips, coded them,but leak off pipes keep coming off on No 1 and 2 injector- any ideas?
@murphyslaw2020 Many thanks, we've pushed them in with a reassuring click right up the shoulder, and still comes off, so there must be a faulty valve or pressure build-up. We'll investigate further :)
hi mate great video and explanation....i am about to buy a car where the dpf has been deleted and mapped....and injector 2 is faulty what would i do for dpf regen if it has been deleted and mapped thanks in advance
My DPF is also deleted. An upgrading my CRBC injectors to those found in the CUNA as two of mine are really noisy/nailing! Yeah I am also wondering about the regen step as I had my dpf gutted and coded out so it doesn't do auto regens anymore
You could try it with out the regen and see what happens. I'm not sure, you will have to test test if it works. You could try a regen if the above doesn't work
So activating the lift pump in the fuel tank using VCDS or OBD11 will bleed the air out of the injectors? I'm just doing the injector seals in the valve cover, and the copper injector washers. Thanks.

Hi sorry for the late reply the adaptation will just run for hours if you do not do the regen. Do not skip any of the steps. I tried to skip it trust me lol
Great video Just bought an old passat tobwork on. I assune the vcdi software is easy to obtain. What do you connect it to the obd2 port with. Is there a special cable? Thanks in advance
Hi basically you buy the cable and the software is free. The one I have is original because we need the back up and updates as we use it all the time. You can get copies on ebay etc not sure how well they work hope that helps
Do you know if this definitely works with 2.0 models? VCDS doesn’t display IDE 06141 - Adapting minimum injector deviation quantity? Is it dependent on ECM software version etc? Any help most appreciated.

@@murphyslaw2020 i have seat altea 2007 2.0 tdi 103kw and it doesnt show me code like ecm is locked and tried on newer cars and older and it does only on mine wont. now cyl 4 is startinh to have problem with injector every few days get missfire error, how m i going to change injector when cant get security acces code. any help would be aprichiated.

Hi you can't just replaced with out coding them in is the minimum. To get the best out of them I'd 💯 do what I did in the video don't skip any steps. Like dpf regen is a must . I'd get software and cable if you can. if you have any questions just ask

Hi, make sure the injectors go back into the same cylinder, or you will need to code them, etc You can try running the car and see if the injectors are making noise. I'd recommend doing all the steps in the video to get the most out of your cleaned injectors. Cleaning them is like replacing them the fueling etc will be different then before
But do i need to do the service regeneration of particle filter if the DPF is off? Then the adaptation of the minimum quantity deviation? Because i tried today to do the deviation quantity and it was running for like 40 minutes and suddenly it said in the vcds Aborted for Safety Reasons.

After getting out the injectors and putting them back, i do the bleeding with vcds with that basic setting, test fuel pump, but... Do i need to bleed every injector by loosen the nuts from fuel pipes at a time and crank the motor for a few seconds with the connecters out?
@georgeadochiei7049 no just run the fuel pump it will start up without any problems. Some car cars you need to do the above but not this engine. I'd change the fuel filter and clean out the holder . I was told too only use vw oem or man filter from the injectors guy we use

Just make sure you have them pushed all the way home you might need to give it a little tap

I'm not sure try all the steps and see what happens. Or you could skip the regeneration and hopefully it works

Hi iv seen this before some cars don't have the settings. if i recall it was a lower kw / hp 1.6 that didn't have it the last time I did one
@ it seem to be the software version that dictates the availability of this option.
There might be an update for the car from the dealer

Have you deleted the dpf ? Is it mapped out.
You could try it again, but make sure the car is up to full temperature before you start
