After reading news numerous articles and posts on forums and social media I can tell you this. The girl lucy got him involved with a Moroccan gang. They gave him a bag of drugs to sell at the festival, he gave some drugs to his friends then lost the rest and had no money to pay the gang. He then steals an expensive watch and tries to sell it to get some money to pay off his debt. Then either the watch owner or the drug gang caught up with him and he won't be coming back unless it's in several pieces. Terrible shame for his family, but he was just a sad wannabe gangster and this is what happens when you play stupid games.

From the description of the Russian and British gangs that are in Spain, it's no different than the cartels in Mexico.
When Americans and Canadians go on vacation in places like Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Canadians and Americans go missing. Usually because they saw something they shouldn't have because of one of the cartels... Or some tourists got into it with one of these gang members over a woman.
