Allegedly Lucy connected Jay with the 2 guys who took him to that Airbnb as he was going to start doing what Lucy does. Something went wrong and he had to do a runner. Looks like someone caught up with him.

The family and friends made the error of verbally attacking the searchers and Police from the get go. That is the last thing one should do.
It alienated Spanish people, which resulted in few turning out to assist searchers. It also suggested that the Police were incompetent, a fatal mistake. Spaniards knew of Jay's criminal past from the start. They are also weary of paying to clean up the messes left behind by these inebriated holidaymakers.
Let this be a lesson to others. Embrace those who help. They are the key to solving the matter.

Well the police were incompetent: how would you describe them for waiting over two weeks before doing a forensic search of the AirBnB? It was the British media that found out that Ayub Qassim was a class A drug dealer who had been sentenced to 9 years.
British chav tourists have a reputation at tourist destinations. Mostly for always complaining and causing problems.
Nobody wants to deal with them.

Lucy was the girl friend of the lad that Jay and friends attacked in the U.K. a few years ago. Small world isn’t!!!!!!! The 2 men in B&B Lucy knew them. Jay left his mobile phone charging in the hotel he was staying at also his passport. I have read all of this on RUclips.

Criticism again about the Spanish Police. 20,000 people go missing in Spain every year. Only about 10% aren't solved. Now in the UK 170,000 people go missing, and the majority aren't found.. So so much for the fabulous British police.

You have no proof this man was involved in Jay's disappearance. One news source said Jay's friend told him to go back to the Airbnb. So if he had told them that the Somalian man was connected to the stolen Rolex or were threatening, his friends would hot have advised him to go back there. Also, the Airbnb owner saw and spoken to him after he left the two men. The Airbnb owner didn't say the two men left and went after Jay.

The investigation needs to focus around (1) exactly who was the owner of the "expensive stolen watch" & stolen by Jay Slater (2) exactly where was the "expensive stolen watch" stolen from. From the word "GO", the once "conspiracy theory" & "rumour(s)" that Jay has was in a lot of trouble because of an " expensive stolen watch" just won't go away. It's now be shown to be FACTUAL that Jay Slater & along with the two Somalia Air B n B guests did steal an expensive brand of watch. Interestingly, the "expensive stolen watch" is NOT a Rolex as Jay Slater himself bragged & boasted. The brand is Audemars Piguet and the make & model stolen, brand new is around £50k.
To solve this case, his parents need to get police to focus on (1) who the owner the watch is/was & (2) exactly where the watch as stolen from. It's the owner is the "expensive stolen watch" has holds the most answers to solving this mystery .
Jay has not known Lucy for years. I think she is the one who got him into this predicament, although not responsible for what happened to him when he left the airbnb. I would be questioning Lucy more closely. I feel sorry for the nightmare his parents must be going through. There needs to be an experienced Mountain Rescue Team on this search.
The Tenerife search team are trained , well experienced and very familiar with the terrain.

Yes, that name came to my mind to, it's not funny really because of this man who looks a bit battered, like a Boxer does after most fights, was a serious Head of a gang of Drug Dealer in the UK, and just back to life outside after a ten year prison sentence. I like the way, he says he is purely a British man, when others say , both him and Jonny Vegas were said to be Somalian,s . Something is really really wrong with the Islands Police saying they were both Innoscent, and, gave them the Right to fly off this Drug ridden once beautiful very expensive Holiday place to go to. Why has Lucy and Brad ect not been pulled in for intense Questioning as neither look very bright , and, liars often have bad memories, so Body language people who work on serious crime suspects, can get the proof whether guilty or not, in maybe thirty minutes. Was odd that those two men stayed miles from where that rave took place, but didn't actually attend it, but supposedly just hung around outside straight after the event. And their stay at the B& B was a very short stay. Also that Lucy was allegedly back and forward over there. Wonder how an alleged young single mum could afford to do that ?

Obviously they didn’t know at the time he’d gone missing, this was going around two days after they found out but the news clearly didn’t know, Lucy kept deleting any messages on the missing page as the money would stop rolling in but people got a few screen grabs. The police no doubt know but have to check everything to make sure all the messages are authentic

The guys he went back with know a lot of people out there as you would expect if they’re active dealers. If Jay admitted to them he stole a Rolex watch and they notified the person’s who it was that he stayed at their Airbnb and had just left on his own in the morning then think he might have been done in. A spenny Rolex like that is gonna be owned by someone with connections out there. Unfortunately for his family I reckon that’s what has happened to him. Gotta remember it’s only a small island and people know each other out there

As I volunteer with a charity who look after spiked/drunk students, this looks like a case of him being spiked n driven a long distance to rob or do worse. Media push women get targeted but men often do! No way he would of walked far whilst spiked/drunk. I hope they find him for closure.

If he was really involved in the theft of a Rolex, one question to ask is whether his friend snitched on him. If he was so afraid to stay put, could it be that those he was trying to evade got hold of his location and kidnapped him? I don't see any houses or shops spread across the area, so I find it hard to believe that he would choose to walk back for hours in the hot sun. Something doesn't add up. Something happened the night before Jay went with the two men that made him fearful. I believe his friends are withholding information to save themselves.
