Good video. I'm always marking camping spots for areas I plan to travel by motorcycle. Especially the ones that are inexpensive or no cost at all. The Bear Tooth, Chief Joseph, and Yellowstone Park roads are on my list. Thanks for creating the video.
Chief Joseph’s Highway is absolutely on the top three in my eyes. Along with 1 million Dollar Highway in Colorado and Highway 12 in Southern Utah. Being in Salt Lake, I feel the luckiest guy always on the road….
The first time I rode Beartooth, the Montana side was open but the WY side was still under 7' of snow. I parked my R1200G$ at the state line and took photos. Always brings that memory when I see the state line. Thanks for bringing us along!!
Man I love your lifestyle! Your narration, and tidbits of history pertaining to your travels really make your videos great! I love your videos Joe! See you on the road!
Been there rode that but its been a few years. Thanks for the refresher. I just found the sticker in my saddlebag you gave me in sturgis. It found a place on the toolbox. Stay safe
Thanks for taking us along with you! Last time I rode over Beartooth Pass, I arrived in Red Lodge to find the entire downtown occupied by a motorcycle show. Good fun!
Thanks Joe - your vids are real stuff we all do...and yes, the price of hotels/motels is off the scale...glad to see the $10 a night spots are still around.
You’re doing a great job with these videos and I’m really enjoying following along. I have often found channels early in their growth and watched them get a lot bigger. As the natural inheritor of Scotty’s tradition I believe you have a great vlogging future! Keep the faith.
We went to the rodeo and experienced Cody's sandy wind storm! Had a great time. Rode Chief Joseph and BearTooth highways with my husband on his Pan America. We went to the candy shop in Red Lodge and loved Yellowstone. God is awesome! Enjoy the highways and byways and ride safe. 🐾🐾
Stayed in Cody for 3 nights and road CJH and Beartooth 4 times. Want to go back so much. I’m 67 years and it’s getting harder to get motivated. I live in southeast Texas and Wyoming and Montana are a long haul away.
Good video Joe. Cody is my destination after Sturgis. I have been across the Beartooth a couple times. I love Red Lodge. The Snag Bar is one of my stops along the way.
Have Family in Livingston, Truly a amazing State and one of the most challenging in the Fall when on 2 wheels. You just never know what you will get weather wise, That's for sure. Thanks as always Joe.
Two of my most favorite rides. I would do them once a year if I could. A drone would produce some awesome video. Especially since the wind was so calm. Last time there it was like riding thru a hurricane. Another awesome video. Thanks for taking us along.
AWESOME! I LIVE MY BIKER DAYS THROUGH YOUR CHANNEL. DUE TO AN ACCIDENT, I CANO LONGER RIDE. SO YOU ARE MY RIDE TODAY. I LIKE THE WAY YOU GIVE THE HISTORY AND THE LITTLE KNOWN FACTS. I MISS MY HARLEY! HOWEVER, I'LL TAKE THE HONDA RIDE!
Just great scenery. Have you noticed a difference in your cameras as far as color quality? The one you're using on the left side is much better. Thanks for the ride along!
If you know a veteran, you can ask them to sign up for a free America the beautiful pass which allows a second user to sign the back. This will get you free admission to all U.S. national parks and half off camping sights within. Awesome deal if you ask me! Stayed at Lake Lewis in Yellowstone last weekend for $10 a night.
Lulu pass road and Daisey pass road eat of cooke city free dispersed camping. Lots of places. They meet up top and it's worth the ride. Abandoned mines and buildings
I keep wanting to ask you what you use to film with? I tried using a GoPro on my bike but the batteries were short lived and my direct wire approach appears to have a failed wire cable now.
I would be panning for gold. I carry a gold pan on both of my street bikes here in Pennsylvania. Rather than just go for a ride to no place special and back home, I check out local streams especially up near the New York border.. over the years, panning for gold maybe 20 times. I have found about as much gold as it would take to make 3 US quarters
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond sorry I shud asked. Do u like the puig ? Wud u recommend it? I was also considering the madstad. Not sure which one to go with
I love Beartooth.
I LOVE the beartooth pass.

I have been on it a # of times.
Uphill switchbacks, ok. Downhill switchbacks, pucker. Great video!

That bike is smooooooth Joe. I can tell by the side mounted cam no movement going down the road. Good suspension.

Hell yeah Brother. Cheer’s!!
You have to take time to see the museum in Cody. Fun. And worth the money
Sounds awesome!
You could spend a whole day in there. The Native American exhibit is the best I’ve ever seen.

Thanks for the views from Beartooth. I'd love to see country like that but I have a problem with heights.
Hi Joe. Really enjoy your videos! Have you done the Going to the Sun road in Glacier. It's spectacular as well.
Not yet, hopefully soon!

@9:56 it sounds like a bear roaring 😅

$32 night that is cheap for me here in Ontario My buddy just got back from Vancouver island said the cheapest campsite they could find was $65 night
Jeez louise!
I keep wanting to ask you what you use to film with? I tried using a GoPro on my bike but the batteries were short lived and my direct wire approach appears to have a failed wire cable now.
I was using a gopro 7 black for a long time. I've since switched to an insta360 go which is pretty versatile.
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Thanks Joe I'll have to look at those. Love your videos keep up the good work.

I need to stop avoiding this every year
It'll change your life bro.
How’s the new bike and has your fuel coast gone down Whats mpg,s
Oh yeah. Depending on what type of riding I'm doing, between 50-70 mpg
I notice you never do shorts.Have you ever thought about doing some
Been a lil chilly lately. I'll start wearing em when I get south
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond RUclips shorts 😂
Haha that’s funny 😄
An, if ya' hava' lisp..it's..BearToof Path..jus' sayin'..

I don’t tent camp anywhere near Yellowstone. Too many very bad endings.
If you can’t beat fear do it scared
You'll be fine with your KA-BAR.
Curious what you mean by bad endings?
Just remember that all of the BLM land is wide open for free camping. No facilities, but thousands of acres to camp.
Absolutely! 💯
