OMG you were not kidding when you wrote me that the next videos will just keep getting better!! WOW! Amazing and thanks again so much for this great one!! What a super Christmas gift to just add on the hard time waiting to get there in 2025!! Thanks again and Merry Christmas to all!! 🤩👍🎅🤶
Brother, outstanding content thru Beartooth Pass! You took me down memory lane past Bone Daddy’s Custom Cycles on Main Street in Red Lodge, and the Boxcar we’ve stopped at for a burger. Never get tired of Beartooth, but I’m like you asking myself, why do I take so long to come back! Easily Top 3 or Top 5 rides in the US. I’m always so locked in I always pass up Chief Joseph HWY into Cody! Dang looking at the Soda Butte Lodge where I’ve stayed, and grabbed a pizza across the street…. BUT would love to hear the story/details you guys on snowmobiles dropping off into “the deep” for the night! Lol. Hey and on a side note, if you haven’t already, leaving Cody to Yellowstone, 18 miles before the entrance on the Shoshone River, the Historic UXU Ranch has new owners, upgraded a few things, the bridge over the river, check it out, great place to stay just outside the park!
Thanks for a great video. It’s been 20 years since I last rode Bear-Tooth. First rode Bear-tooth in 1993, with 4 buddies. Never had so much fun, as it was in a mild snow storm. One of the great things about riding long distance, eventually it will throw some big challenges. With the weather, you either ride or find a hotel. To me, riding Bear-tooth in a snow storm was a test of our skill sets. Challenge accepted, and all 5 of us made with no issues. It would have been nice to record our conversation at lunch in Cook City after that ride. The 5 of us rode out of Denver, did 10’s of thousands of miles together. Back roads and tenting on 2 wheels, nothing can compare!
That’s an awesome story, thanks for sharing! We once did Mt. Evans at 7am in the morning and hit an inch of snow a mile from the top. Slogged our way up there and then waited for the snow to melt. Great memories!
Gorgeous video.. I drove this same Route Sep of 2013. When you are driving a car no way do you get the views you show, passenger some. It was mainly all guard rails all the way, no sheer drop offs maybe a little on the Wyoming side. You had a gorgeous day to drive it..Chief Joseph Highway beautiful way to enter Cody. Hope you had a chance to go from Cody to Yellowstone via another gorgeous drive, The Buffalo Bill Scenic Byway thru Wapiti Valley (Grizzly Bear Country) and into the East entrance of Yellowstone..Thanks again for such an AWESOME video....
Thanks for the amazing scenery. Based on your video and others, Beartooth is definitely going on the list of places to ride on my trip in '24. BTW, you get some pretty good lean angles on that big bike--great skills. Thanks again.
Road this in 94 and 2008. 2008 road was half gravel during construction. Must go again while still able as it is indeed an inspiring, deeply moving stretch of Americana not to be missed by anyone.
This road is only dangerous when there is an excess of citiots on it or your caught in weather.i ride this road about 10-15 times a year on my klr650. I do try and not get stuck behind Harleys on this road.
I spent 2 weeks 2 up riding and hiking around Yellowstone. It was early Sept. absolutely gorgeous and no people. in from Jackson out to Jackson. in from Jackson out to Cody. over to Red Lodge, out to Idaho.
Awesome views. Great bikes. I’ll miss the red road glide 🥲 loving the content Matt.
Me too... 😩. But she had one heck of a final ride!
Thanks! Episode 4 is out now!
Views just keep getting better. Amazing
You are going to have a heck of a run next summer!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely look into the UXU Ranch, thanks for the tip!

Yep! If you watch the next video it’s exactly that route from Cody to Yellowstone.
Another great episode!! It’s beautiful up there
Thank you!
Sunday evening viewing down here in Perth. Nothing better than a Matt S travel series. ✌🏻🇦🇺
Thanks brother! Glad you are enjoying it!
Great video. I agree those are some the best rides in the country!
Pound for pound, I'm not sure there is a better stretch of highway than Beartooth and Chief Joseph.
Loved it! I’ll be back on both these roads in July.
I prefer Chief Joseph but both are spectacular!
Jealous! I wish I was going back already!

Thank you for watching, and the compliments! We do like to get after it a bit on the baggers 🤣. You will not be disappointed by Beartooth Pass.
Dammmm.. I gonna have to Beartooth to my list. Good shit.
You won’t regret it, it’s spectacular.
Great video and series.
Thank you!
Great video thanks for sharing it
Thank you!
Very nice video 👍👍👍
Thank you!
I gotta get out west to snowmobile!
I actually snowmobiled in the Bighorns many years ago. Was funny to ride the motorcycle by the lodge we stayed at 🤣🤣

100% agree. It’s an incredible road.

You wouldn’t have been stuck behind these Harley’s! 🏍️💨
@@FullTankAdventures I would have on the switchbacks, I can run the turns much faster then a bagger can, it's the lean angles
@@MontanaDirtRoads Probably true, but we would’ve tried like hell to catch up 🤣🤣
@@FullTankAdventures I wouldn't doubt that, I just went over the bighorns from Dayton to shell, very amazing strip of road I will say.
@@MontanaDirtRoads The Bighorns are awesome, especially the north side. That view looking west across the valley is incredible.
I will try too some day in the future
@@johnmoua2176 👊👊
Planning on these roads this summer (2024). Last time was 1993.
Nice!! Enjoy!
i have been riding beartooth pass every year since 1980
It is one of, if not the best road in the US.
I beg to differ; the million-dollar highway might constitute the best-view highway - but this is undoubtedly at par with it.
That definitely on the list. M$H is epic.
headed there in July!
Enjoy! It’s so amazing!
Incredible camera work. What systems are you using to film and communicate?
I use a DJI drone and two Insta360 cameras and a couple GoPros.
What time of the year did ya go through there ... we just did that ride in July 2023 and Aug 2021
We've done it in June before and this time was mid August. June was a bit dicey, August was absolutely perfect weather.
I spent 2 weeks 2 up riding and hiking around Yellowstone. It was early Sept. absolutely gorgeous and no people. in from Jackson out to Jackson. in from Jackson out to Cody. over to Red Lodge, out to Idaho.
I have stayed in the very motel lol.
🤣🤣🤣
Sad you didn't stop at bone daddy cycle.
Where is it?
Red Lodge
@@harleyhawk7959 Next time!
Work on staying in your lane! I know it’s hard with the scenery
I mostly do 🤣🤣
