Yes we rode that area in2016. Started in Colorado, did Jackson Hole & the Tetons, Up into Canada, Montana GTTSR in Glacier NP is an amazing ride. We are blessed in America to have the freedom that we do to travel our beautiful country!!!✌️✌️
I grew up in Jackson Hole WY, I have always loved beartooth pass! Now that I have my own motorcycle beartooth is at the top of my bucket list for rides I wanna do!
Ah yeah. Great idea. Take your time and enjoy it. See red lodge. See Cody. Enjoy your time. Lemme know how it goes. But wait until the snow melts a little :)
love all the back rack roads and Bear Tooth and GLAC is off the charts gorgeous on a bike in the morning. Keep up the great rides through the small towns of America. Canada has some great rides also. Ride safe RIDE free friend.
@@MotoMission. Actually no.... I live 1,000 miles away in Minnesota. 😄 We've hauled our sportbikes out to Red Lodge several times over the decades. And then we would run the Beartooth 3-4 times a day. The Chief Joseph hwy as well. It was tough to see how bad the town of RL is after the flooding.
Last year I rode Beartooth Pass to Red Lodge after spending the day in Yellowstone. A bee or wasp got in my neck buff and stung me bad enough that by the time I could get pulled over I was bleeding. It’s still possibly the greatest day of riding I’ve ever had. This includes having ridden the Million Dollar Highway two days prior.
Wow. Your story about the bee made me hurt. I got stung in the eye recently. I’m sure you saw the video Million dollar is a fav of mine. Bear tooth is mind blowing. Such good riding.
Thanks for sharing your adventure - 40 years ago I rode my 10 speed bicycle up that vary road you rode. Montana is gods country. Take care and enjoy the ride.
Subscribed! I watch a lot of motovlogger videos and yours are by far the best. Your videos should have a thousand times more views. Just goes to show you how messed up the YT algorithm is. I’ll do what i can to help. I’m from the MS Gulf Coast so if you ever come this way hit me up for done recommended sites. Keep up the good work and be safe.
Hey. Thank you so much for those kind words. I am seeing slow growth in the channe. And would love the help I plan to be in Luisiana the first week of Feb. Doing a loop around the state.
All the River Road plantation stuff from St Francisville down to around New Orleans is worth seeing. The swamplands down south are cool. If you fo Mardi Gras be prepared for wildness like you've never seen haha. But be safe, the crime in NO is so bad we wont even visit. Poverty Point us a cool archeological site worth seeing.
That’s good to know. I will likely avoid New Orleans for the most part. Maybe rode thru quick enough to film a little. Maybe. Haha. Thanks for the tips.
Im happy that you had such a good time. The beartooth pass is in mu backyard. Living in billings i can make the beartooth to chief joseph to cody and then back to billings in one amazing day. Riding my harley i just city back and enjoy the beautiful part of the country i live in.
Nice! As always... I rode that route on my sportbike up from my apt. in Denver CO thru Buffalo, Ranchester, and Ralston WY on the way to visit an old friend in Spokane WA in the beginning of August in 2013 to spend my birthday up there with him. It's an amazing route and I definitely want to do it again, this time probably on my 890R. Sad to see what the flooding has done to the beautiful area of Red Lodge. LOVE the drone shots over those twin lakes at the top. I'm not a camper, but, I can only imagine how amazing it would be to somehow hike down there and camp by those lakes, with a view UP to the top, but also over the ledge and looking further down into the valley at the bottom. Keep up the good work, and ride safe!
I remember standing at the red traffic lights in the other direction at Beartooth Lake on 2022/8/27 on my way to yellowstone from Red Lodge. (Un)fortunately the east entrance of Yellowstone was closed due to the floodings. So I had to ride the Chief Joseph Highway. And I'm glad I did :-) It's such a beautiful area and the weather was beautiful. Happy riding...
BEAUTIFUL !!!!!! That's all I can say about that part of the country. Hopefully I can make it out there to experience it and take it all in in person !! Thanks for sharing Brock !
Great content! Always looking forward to the next video and can't wait for your Europe trip! BTW, 3:50, that was Sunlight Bridge the tallest in Wyoming.
Oh ok. I didn’t know that. I don’t research near enough before I ride. Sometimes it’s a problem. But it’s also what keeps the adventure fresh for me. Ha. Or maybe I’m just lazy haha. Glad you liked this vid. Headed to Greece now to begin a new one. Editing more vids now and will have a few more real soon :)
Hey Douglas. Thanks for watching. You are gonna have the ride of your life. One of best roads in the country. Take your time and enjoy it. Lemme know how it goes
I've done the Beartooth twice - once, out of Yellowstone after spending the night at Cooke City. The second time was Cody, Chief Joseph and the Beartooth, staying over night at the Yodeler in Red Lodge. Fantastic ride! Great video brings a lot of it back too. Thanks for sharing!
More FUN than you can handle, maybe; we’ve seen you ride much harder. It is fun, and I’ve been at the top when the snow started one August. Had the road closed by the time I made it to Dead Lodge. I always take this every time I ride from CO to visit folks in the Big Sky Country.
Great video, I’m coming from Ireland next year to ride it. You guys in the USA should get yourselves over to Europe cos if you like this type of road you need to try it. Search on Stelvio Pass, Furka Pass, Italian Dolomites by motorcycle and you will get a feel for it. The Alps in France Switzerland Austria Germany Slovenia are just biking heaven and you have about 2000 miles of it
Maaaaaan, what beautiful scenery. I am really enjoying the series. I especially enjoy the drone shots. You have some skill, there. Safe travels. brother. PS what happens if the dog is a Pit Bull, and/or if they actually have cappuccino? lolol
I didn't get to meet you that day but my husband did and I've followed your videos since. You take everyone along on the journey with you! It's been cool!
Haha. My squeaky boots!! I buy them from squeekyboots .com Actually they are gaerne sg12 Believe it or not they sound less squeaky than my previous sg10 boots.
That is my normal day ride, have thousands of miles going over the passes. Live a few miles north of where you turned off to dead indian pass. 4:40 actually you were still in Wyoming at that point, the vast majority of beartooth pass is in Wyoming. Like Yellowstone 95% is in Wyoming.
Thanks for the scripture verse. Praise God for His creation. Can’t wait for the new Heaven and the new earth. This is nothing compared to what that will be like.
Hey. I decided not to camp. I wanted to stay lightweight considering my camera gear and things. One thing to consider when doing the tat is this. If you camp it’s extra weight on your bike. You may be picking your bike up off the ground at times. Also I met guys who were camping and they had to deal with rain and stopping to dry out their gear during the day. I knew I would be sore and tired at the end of every day so I just wanted to be simple. Either way is a viable option but just consider the challenges of camping vs the extra expense of a hotel.
11:11 Hey, meeting Swiss people (like me :-) up there (I could tell from their accent...). Come over to Europe to ride in the Alps in Switzerland, France and Austria, bro. But save some money first. Unfortunately Switzerland is very expensive and riding off road is prohibited in many places. France is a much better place for off-road riding.
