    Lovely tutorial Philippa. This looks like a great starter kit. I especially like the way you have included a variety of fleece effects and horns, with each sheep being different.

    Congratulations on making such a fabulous kit. I am curious who makes the wool mat on the section where you separated the black wool? I was going the buy one from Bear Creek but want your expert opinion comparing that style to Woolbuddy.

      @feltsbyphilippa  Год назад

      It was a lady on Etsy, it's in this video below but the woolbuddy is still my most favourite and has lasted a long time. I like the height and size of it, really comfortable x

      @@feltsbyphilippa Thanks for the link. Can you tell me a little more about why you prefer it? I saw one cut open and the woolbuddy is all sheets of felted wool. I am not sure how they filled the dark/light one you have. Are there other reasons why you prefer the woolbuddy?

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Год назад

      Mainly the height for resting my hands, not to high and how large it is, I also prefer the less slopey sides as it helps when doing legs plus it's solid x

      @@feltsbyphilippa oh, sorry - I just heard Marie from Living Felt say sliver like you do. It may be a regional thing because the shop here in southern Utah say it like shiver with an sl. My apologies.

    Needle felt is easy but so long to make..... It can be therapeutic for us but also irritating.
