❤ I love this, well done Philippa. There is just no end to your imaginative creations. I look forward to your videos and can’t wait for your next one 😊
I really enjoyed that tutorial , the sheep looks very realistic . I do have a question about needles as I am new to felting . Do the needles go blunt over time and how often should you change them? Thank you for sharing your knowledge 😊
Hi, thanks for watching and glad you like it, on the whole my needles don't go blunt, I am more likely to break one than need to change it. However, if I have a 36 size that does most of the work at the beginning, I have replaced that after 3 or 4 years x
Lovely!!!!! I'm in the U.S. and I'm wondering where I would get the curls for the sheep head or body if I'm making a full figure of a sheep? I thought I was buying curls from a website (can't remember what it was called.. when I got the bag in the mail the wool had a Very strong sheep smell and not many curls. Should I wash it? Maybe I asked for the wrong wool. What are yours called? I really like your podcast and you certainly are very artistic. Thank you for any assistance.
Hi, so my curls were Blue Faced Leicester locks, I buy a fleece and wash it but go on Etsy and search curly locks, get them prewashed as it is easier but they are more expensive. Also try Facebook for more local groups to you or ask on a needle felting group too in the US xx
Here's my video on types of wool but in this tutorial I did use actual sheep locks, the linked video will give you ideas x ruclips.net/video/uANIlnZchtE/видео.htmlsi=Xv2W2RP6ezVxBLLU
He is adorable!! I have been watching your videos and made my first ever needle felt. it was a sheep with curly hair. inspired by your video. my curly wool was mostly fuzzy and not curly though. where did you get the curly wool that you used in this video?
Amazing, I'm going to try this one, but would like to order the frame you used, could you give a link down here please, and let me know where you buy the sheeps wool, when I buy it it's discolored and there are pieces that are all stuck together that you can't unstick, so they are a waste of money. Thank you for any help, it's much appreciated.
Hi, the frames are in my Amazon shop in the description, they are white box frames and really nice. The wool was a random buy off Facebook as a half fleece and I washed it myself. You have to cut the goods locks off so it can be wasteful. Etsy has some good suppliers so have a look there, thanks so much x
Probably are, you will have to search the name of the producer, think it is Nicola Spring, there are normally 8 by 8 on her Amazon too, I don't list every size in my shop x
Looks like a great little kit xx
Thanks so much Sam xx
Love that❤!!x😊
Thanks ❣️

This is so cute! I have to try!! For the curly locks, can it be any yarn or does it have to be special type like made with wool?

I want your book.
I don't have one yet, one day! X
No speak inglish
Do you have a kit you sell for the sheep? Vicki Bedeian
No, I don't do a kit for this x
I only see 6X6 on your amazon, except for the long frame you have. Are they any bigger ones ?
Probably are, you will have to search the name of the producer, think it is Nicola Spring, there are normally 8 by 8 on her Amazon too, I don't list every size in my shop x
Where can I purchase the beautiful curly locks of hair
I get mine off Etsy x
I have a question about the frames you used, can you provide the style number? I am in the US found a few frames but nothing you used. Thank you
It's in the description in my Amazon shop but the make is Nicola Spring box frames x
That came out great, very real looking. Was the book a Wrendale designs one? It looked like that style.
It does, no, it's a lady called Hannah Dale, such cute paintings xx
Hanna Dale runs wrendale designs I have a few of her mugs
Thanks! She has a very recognisable style.
Oh I see, it certainly is her style x
Do you sell just the locks?vicki Bedeian
Hi, no, I'm not a supplier of needle felted wools, sorry x
Is this core wool you’re using as the base, please?
Well, it's what I use for core wool, it's a perendale batt which felts quickly x
Oh thank you. I’m not to familiar with the different wools yet, where would I get that from please?
World of Wool, they have lots of batts in a natural/white colour, this video shows some x
