He apologized for the tangent, but it was super interesting and now I’m going the rabbit hole of info about seeds. Thanks, guy. EDIT: He just said “it’s like a benevolent Michael Reeves video” and nobody else laughed and I wanna be this cool guy’s friend now.
The first guy wasn't necessarily wrong, different seed number creates different batches of images but only because it changes the composition of gaussian noise.
Thanks for covering this! You guys are getting it right. ❤ Marques, if you send me the coordinates in a DM, I will make a "photo" from the camera itself. Oh and thanks for breaking my website 😂 Also... a video is in the making explaining how and why I made it, stay tuned!
I believe all this can be done with a regular smartphone, and it would even let you compare the real photo with the AI generated one and use the information to perfect the training models and improve it's area coverage.
he second guy explaining what a seed is is correct... '1 seed would be like really noisy' this just shows how much they don't know they are talking about!
It's recreating what it was like for humans before photographs were a thing. Imagine you go on a visit to the city. Well, the only thing you can do it describe it to your friends and family when you return. This device is creating a "mind's eye" version of where you were and what it looked like there. Like what your friends and family would see in their minds when you described it to them. If you add "old timey-illustration" to the prompt it would fit right in with historical illustrations. We're several layers deep now. haha
It can read old buildings' photos from Google Street View, Wikipedia about that town and other photo databases. AI will just compose a "real life" picture with you and your friends/family (photoes taken from your Facebook and Instragram) ;-)
Glad to hear this is like a passion project and not some techsnerd’s attempt at making it big. It does seem pretty impressive how it operates. I do think though that if this was popular there will be people using it’s results to claim they’re a real photographer and that actual photography is obsolete
@@NeonLuminous LOL insane to think that’s there may actually be people pushing for ai tech that ARENT looking to cash in while doing as little work as possible and exploiting everyone
People don't realize, this is the same thing that happened when cameras were invented. Artists freaked out. Crying that they would be out of a job. So they adapted in many ways. Some became photographers, others started making abstract paintings, and so on. Imagine if artists would have gotten their way and secured their jobs and positions by getting the government involved to stop camera tech from being developed. We will adapt. Also, Fs in the chat for the horse and buggy companies. Ford really put a hurt'n on their industry.
@@ashharfaroqui Yes and suppose if we go to some place and forget to take any pictures. Based on our recent location we can give prompt and generate an image 😀
The guys defending the AI camera are trying so hard to say "It is so cool as a product :o" you know, like a toy when it clearly makes no sense 😂 But it is like a guy seeing what he can do with AI who just happens to have put it in a camera body :)
AI is going to make artistic careers worthless, i strongly agree with the anger of using AI that's going to rip out the artistic job market, why hire a photographer or graphic artist to do things for you when you can just use AI based software on your phone on the spot, there really needs to be harsh regulation of what we can use AI for to protect the ripping of jobs and it needs to happen soon before the damage is already done
“Nobody is using this to replace a real photo” if y’all don’t think someone would absolutely use this to replace real photography, you aren’t as plugged in to the internet s it seems.
the second guy explaining what a seed is is correct.
NICE
this is true

Awesome project Bjoern! Love it!

Definitely an app can be made out of thos
I mean for sure, it's supposed to be interesting/provocative, not practical

Marques got a haircut at the end there and thought we wouldn't notice 🧐

Very off-brand for AI grifters.
@@NeonLuminous LOL insane to think that’s there may actually be people pushing for ai tech that ARENT looking to cash in while doing as little work as possible and exploiting everyone
i think it's supposed to speculative design or critical design rather than a product. it's an art piece and commentary on current AI products
I'm sure someone will make it into a mobile app.
Without GPS and internet, this camera is blind as a bat😂........
Looks like a clever gimmick.
This is a really cool project!
I think the whole camera object&concept is a nice art work. Better than a banana strapped on a wall

We will adapt.

My bet is that it's using Google street view based on the GPS coordinates and then enhancing as an input
Is it actually generating the photo itself, or is it just firing off to a webservice somewhere on the internet and getting a picture sent back to it?
I would totally love to try this, it seems so fun!
*I find this project really cool and innovative. Serves as great commentary!*
They could easily add this functionality directly into smart phones. Couple it with the actual cameras and the hybrid would be even better
Samsung already used AI to produce a fake HD moon when you point the camera at the moon. So it’s kinda happening to some degree already.
my art teacher was obsessed
Interesting idea. This can be done using a smartphone or watch app.
This could be just an app on your phone and would still be a good gimmick.

Hes right. Seed is the noise generqted.
Next google phone releases with no Cameras at all just uses Ai
this discussion once again cemented my believe that normies should be shielded from art that is not made for monetary purposes by huge corporations.
Can you do a review on the security used by Android and iOS?
Google could probably do this AND insert you into the photo if you have one of you on the device
You forget that ALL phone cameras do the same thing. Because people don't need it. All they need is perfect version of themselves in social networks.
It can also probably hack into google earth images
Yo I remember seeing this but I think I thought it was just one of those fake ads on shady sites😂
A star nosed mole... with AI.
It looks like a mole, which is somewhat poetic because they’re blind
The red thing for me looks like the nose of a mole or a Facehugger from Alien.
As a great RUclips reviwer once said: "What is a photo"?
Price milne ka name hai nahi mil raha😢
You could just take a picture with a camera
Interesting idea… 😂

Guys I love podcasts and videos, but I have to say that the Ai camera is the ugliest thing i've ever seen and I've just looked in the mirror! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
