My favorite JLA arc
This run is the start of “Bat-God” and is the best justice league run period.

smashmaster521 I Love Snyder but im not a big fan of This justice league run. It’s a slog to get through at times. Ive picked up every trade as they come out and some are tough to get through at times but The sixth dimension is a great story.
@@johnnieriot13 I won't deny that Snyder's Justice League is filled with exposition, but as someone relatively new to DC and is less familiar with their universe compared to Marvel, I love the exposition. Of course, the thing that really makes Snyder's Justice League great is that it is a love letter to the rich history of the DC Universe that doesn't require a Ph.D to enjoy.
smashmaster521 it’s great that you like it man. I’m just giving my opinion. Plus, maybe the hype I had for It hindered it for me. I thought it was gonna be one thing and it ended up being another. Either way , Scott Snyder is great and it’s a good run. I think the Morrison’s is the best of the best though.

I'm more of a fan of Scott Snyder's Justice League run.
Morrison gave away that it would all come down to Darkseid vs Green Arrow and the Atom (and that the heroes would win) ending months before in a Wizard magazine article. And like a magician, he was still able to shock people and leave jaws on the floor.

Lex Luthor is my favourite villain and this book is a huge reason for that.

Seven Hells I love the Morrison Justice League.
If you like Days of Future Past this is the book for you it's like the DC universe take on it. Want to see if the JL were the X-Men angle there's the Nail. See what the DC universe was feared like the mutants.
Yeah... actually reading the Nail currently and it has a lot of X men vibes.
@@EJK2099 it's strangely enjoyable isn't it? seeing the Marvel and DC both aim doing similar concepts and seeing their spin on it. To indulge more on that recommend
Crisis on Infinite Earths/Secret War (the all out retro event)
Ultimate Spider-Man/New52 Superman (The slight grounding reimagining of a classic icon for the 21st century)
NEW52 Batman/Immortal Hulk (both go full on horror)
JLA / Avengers (2006-2011 runs they both go all-star team with a twist)
Avengers masterworks Vol 1/ JLA The Silver Age vol 1 (for historical reasons see where it all began while checking out the difference in style and tone they used back in the 60s)

@@EJK2099 impressive. One would normally say earth X since its the heroes but older in a dark future. But when you really think about it Civil War is indeed closer to the Kingdom Come storyline with the hero war and tension with the government. Cool to someone picking up on them subtle tones. Something that is worth checking out too is the Secret Wars Warzone Civil War sorta sequel too, currently on say for $3 on Google play books, since it covers what if the War escalated further and original climax the brawl in New York instead intensified to another tragedy that destroyed New York and miles around then takes place 10-15 years later Tony Stark and Captain America lead their half of the nation in a even bigger US sized superbeing war.

That arc is so weird because there are moments when DC and Marvel are in sync or cover similar things like new52/Marvel Now!, Secret Wars/ crisis on infinite, 2006ish All star team up rosters with twist not exact but close! So anywho read this arc and immediately thought this is straight up a DC take on Days of Future past.
