Diff gearing explained: The number (eg 3.90) refers to the number of full rotations of the pinion gear to 1 full rotation of the ring gear. Or how many times the driveshaft turns to turn the back wheels 1 full rotation. So, if it's 3.90 that means your driveshaft turns 3.90 times to turn the wheels once. If your gearing is 4.11, the driveshaft turns 4.11 times to turn the rear wheels once. So essentially, the lower the number, the less times your motor has to turn to make a full rotation of the wheels meaning that it can spin the wheels faster (more top speed) before the engine reaches its maximum revs. The higher the number, the more torque and acceleration you'll get. If you've gone from a 4.11 to a 3.90 you would have lost some acceleration/torque and gained some top speed.
Fin Rennard You are correct. Stock is 4.1 and PuddyMod offers 3.63, 3.91, 4.10, 4.3, 4.44, 4.77, and 4.88 gear sets. Engineering Explained guy got 4.44 for more torque.
@@StreetBandito yeah its kinda backwards from the way you think it should work lol. Taller gears are actually smaller numerically and shorter gears are higher numerically
The S2000 is sexy af, too, but we already all knew that. haha.. Didn't want you to feel left out, but the bimmer is new to me, so I figured I'd mention it. I didn't really used to care for those S2000's too much, but damn, that one is different. It's the stance and the wheels, I think. Oh, and the flares, fa sho. That's what it is! It looks so much different with those on it.
For me, I want a 1st Gen Celica, bag it, stiffen up the frame, roll cage, lighten up the panels and doors, shave and delete as much sh*t as I can, brakes, wheels, seats, steering, fuel cell, LS swap. The works. And then paint it The Joker purple with some pearl flake and green interior. Maaan, that'd be so stupid. Not sure my eyes could handle the green interior, but I'd be willing to try it just for the look. heh..
youre suppose to move the tool box to where the spare tire is stored cause there's no way you're gonna fit a full size tire in there, its like only 4-5 inches wide. here it is in the owners manual www.manualslib.com/manual/713355/Honda-2006-S2000.html?page=177#manual
been looking for an old bmw, e9/2002/e21, to just daily drive. already own a 635csi but it’s only a weekender lol. Tim’s 2002 is what i’m trying to accomplish with my daily, runs good and a simple aesthetic. ps. amazing content as always guys👍🏼👌🏼
Sick intro, love the trunk delete, the wing on the 2002 looks great. Can't wait to see more progress on the z. Long story short, still my favorite RUclips channel!
That big cavity underneath the s2k would look so good if u had a panel covering that. It also would help with drag but it would look cool so u dont just see a huge rectangular recess. Also now u can paint ur control arms and stuff and make that rear subframe look hella fancy
I'm really digging the direction in which both cars go. Always ditch the trunk liners and just keep a pair of bags in the trunk for padding if you intent to move stuff (like those padded camp bags for food stuffs). They keep moisture, don't do much for noise in reality (holes are your bigger enemy). They hold more aesthetic purposes than practical ones. I ditched it in all my cars, and begged a buddy of mine who does boating stuff to throw some epoxy based keel paint, tough stuff.
rear of the s2000 looks good. You should paint or powdercoat the rear subframe, rear sway bar and rear control arms and stuff, since you can see them so much more now.
I’m not throwing shade I’m saying they deserve more love and recognition for the quality they are putting out almost 50k is a lot but they deserve 3 times that tbh
@@einen4554 I didnt feel shade ....just sun shine. My point is there are wayyyy to many other channels that havent reach 50 thousand in 5-10 yrs .The Banditos have already stole the gold for the short time they have been out here "months" not even a year yet
Do you guys do engine work? Need to figure out a problem on my 06 350z. Hills Garage wants too much money to just figure out the problem. I live in Gaithersburg, MD
I believe that cavity left under the old trunk would create positive lift. Reducing your traction on high speed corners. I would consider using a defuser to help the air get out of your rear end. Cheers
SO MUCH automotive and cinematography perfection and sheer goodness dude! LOVE the content, keep it up you guys :D been around since 15k and havent regretted a single second :)
When u said trunk delete I thought u meant the trunk hahahah I was like how is he gonna do this hahaha thought u we’re gonna change the look of the car lol😂😂😂
Street Bandito Iike like to see the z candy painted and burning tires but best things take time. You should make a street Banditos mold and vacuum form some carbon fiber n use that for some of you vertical wings. Even if it's just slightly raised in the outline of your sticker it'd be sick but im wonder what kinds of shapes can you get out of carbon n how detailed.
Are the S2000 wheels re-finished in a different colour, don't recall seeing a vid on it? If they are could you share the paint code please? That would be awesome thanks.
Man I thought i was a going to see a wing from a 2002 bmw installed on an s2k lol i was like whaaat!? Lol

You have hands down my favorite editing of any car channel on RUclips.
That’s one of the baddest s2000 I’ve ever seen. Very clean
I love how you experiment with the video effects and camera angles and filming styles, keeps it fresh and interesting. Killing it.
Intros are getting better and better
That s2000 is just great to look at it...
The progression tho . Hands down my fav intro

Half bumper looks dope
Not a fan of the half bumper, but hey it's your car!
DaveBuilds you usually put a huge diffuser afterwards I wonder they did not mention it.
Now you just have to clean up the rusty rear lower arms on the s2k.
Are you guys Industry Garage? Didnt you have concrete gray s2000 with an LS swap?
Falls Road is awesome, you should head up farther and hit some of the sick backroads almost to PA.
You should get some slotted rotors for the S2000.
The 2000 and 2002 are looking fresh.
Just found this channel and s2k is my dream car so i had to subscribe. Especially after seeing that you guys are in Maryland too.
sick shoot with drone! awesome work boyzzzzz
Pretty dope. I dig this video a lot. Even without any carbon fiber. Time to paint/freshen up the rear subframe now that you cut the rear bumper.
loving the new mods but plus change the rims colors on the s2k hello from SPAIN!!!
Street Bandito you are about to make my dream s2k ❤️ keep
The hard work i wish you the best
FYI that trunk bump was designed so that if you get a flat you'd have a space to store the wheel that went flat.

Boys need a 240z update, great intro!
Yo how did you make the photoshop at 0:32 look so real? Like it really looks like he's actually working on his own car!
Looks like Tim forgot to put in the LEDs for the left rear lights. :) Nice seeing Xavier working on the s2k too bad it was because of rust.
And them glamour shots was wild.
The content drought is killing, hope to see u guys back soon.

That little wing sets that BMW off. 👌
Found this channel recently, and I'm very glad I did. Extreme quality content! The effects make a good video even better
Great content 👌 what camera are you using?
Both of your cars of sick! And great music choice great video overall!
was this car in the backround of dougs newest vid?????
Should have rolled a couple beads into the trunk floor! Take that flex out. But now you have a drum you can play built into your trunk!
How did that even happen to the S2k?
Where exactly did you get that 2002 spoiler from, which seller? I need one for my Jetta mk1 and I've read that 2002 ducktail spoilers fit.

Cool editing!
Awesome video
Caught me off guard with dat ending 😂
Its Amazing to see how far the editing has come in the last few months! Best video yet keep it up :D
You guys should make some KC rally lights that mount on to the front 2002 bumper holes

Carbon diffuser/flat plate for the back of the s2k??

What colour are the wheels on the S2000? They are stunning 😍
What wheels are on the s2000 ?
I don’t get how your channel literally has the best quality and content and you only have 45k subs wth

Can we have the link (or the name of the product) of the 2002 wing?

Warby Parker them jawns like 100 bucks with prescription
That's a hell of a departure angle with the back of the s2000. Are you planning on going rock crawling lol?

What are your wheel and tire specs on the S2000? I love the meaty look!
What’s up with the carbon 240???
Correct me if im wrong, but going down to 3.x gear ration from a 4.1 is going to give you less low end torque
love that 2002 every time I see it I want one, thou I would not be able to stop myself from turning it into an outlaw
I want to see a video on that Lincoln in the background.
damn both these cars are mint! cant wait to see at h2o.. subbed
well done Banditos
What part of MD are you all from?
When are the stickers going up on the shop??? I want one on my R32
The rear on the s2000 seems to high now without the defuser
When u said trunk delete I thought u meant the trunk hahahah I was like how is he gonna do this hahaha thought u we’re gonna change the look of the car lol😂😂😂
if you wanted to get fancy with it, youl probably could throw in some leds in the plate and have a makeshift underglow in the back
Man that's super creative! Turning a rust problem into something unique. Good going :D
Nice look on both whips😎✌🏽✌🏽😎
Subbed because you guys are in MD. Represent
I would have reinforced that panel with a bead roller for some strength.
S2000 needs some Ikeya Formula rear lower & toe arms, rear sway bar and painted/powder coated rear subframe.
You don't get to yell at me telling me it's a wrap. I leave when I feel like it!

so sick. glad you took care of that rust. I've been thinkn about it since the last vid. lol
Maybe i missed the information in previous episodes, but can we get those stickers that you slapped on your s2000?
Street Bandito Ahh yeaa. Thanks! Much love
would you rather have a NOT enough glue inside the seals of your car?!?!?.... think about that. Lol!
should prolly cross brace that plate alittle. and make sure to rust protect the steel edges under there
What are you going to do with the rear defuser from the S2000?
Street Bandito what conditions is it in and how much? If you don’t mind me asking I have been thinking about putting one on my 07 S2000.
God damn son! I'm SO glad I don't live where cars rust like that....
Are the S2000 wheels re-finished in a different colour, don't recall seeing a vid on it? If they are could you share the paint code please? That would be awesome thanks.
I dont recall the exact paint code but its a Ford GT color with a SEM matte clear
Perfect thanks dude!
I was thinking the same thing about the rwb guy
Been here since 5k, I ain’t never leaving! Fantastic editing work as always.
