In today's video we install a bride carbon fiber bucket seat, hard dog roll bar, and a cusco harness! This things is transforming quickly! 1-10, how loud is the exhaust? It sounds great, but is it obnoxiously loud to the point my neighbors will hate me?
Dustin the levell of the harness i very dangerous for you, the holes in the seat need to be AT level with your shoulders or a bit higher, if u get into a crash like that the harness will compress you down, and compress your spine, its supossed to pull you back , not compress down, PLS for your safety investigate a bit more on them , i might be wrong, but i dont think i am, i want you to be safe man!!!! The problem is the seats, theyr too short in height for you.
You're absolutely correct. I just commented the same thing.
Bride seats are made for smaller Japanese people, needs to look at other brands like Sparco which are designed with much taller backs.

Its the shoulder straps being at the incorrect level/angle and pulling down/compressing on your spine.

You're too tall for that seat with the harnesses and they're at a dangerous angle.
Hope you don't crash otherwise laters to your back/spine.
Ya this setup doesn't seem very safe :(. Not a fan of running harnesses unless there is a complete setup. Best of luck to Dustin.

@@MrUltimatePCgamer he's done the full package at once which is good, only thing I'd do is disconnect the driver airbag until he puts his steering wheel on. Just needs to change the seat for something with a taller back like Sparco and he's good to go

Is that seat safe for you? Isn't the harness hole supposed to be above your shoulder so your spine does not get compressed in the case of an accident?
When he says he gotta cut the chassis "a little bit" to put the backing plate on, I knew this was gonna get interesting.
Cutting the chassis to get the backing plates in and installing the roll bars was the hardest work I've ever done on my s2k ever. I have the same hard dog 4-point

This track project is going to be crazy, the decision to go by spoon is the best! definitely the R35 and s2k my favorite projects !!!
Ayyy Dut if you want the airbag light off you can get a 2.2 Ohm 1/2 watt or 1/4 watt resistor off ebay and connect it to the airbag seat connector or solder it to the connector harness. It'll fool the ecu making it think the seat is in the car.
The s2k melts with the roll bar 🥰

Hey Dustin, I just gotta let you know. I own an 03 AP1. Your soft top isn't going down all of the way. There should be a bungy strap connecting two of the bars on the soft top to pull one back and allow the top to fold correctly. You can get upgraded replacement straps from a website ( modifry.com ) also as a resource check out is

I have a suggestion. How about you put in the cost of the parts you bought and perhaps a link to where you got them from.
Should change the fuel pump now while you’re in there. Way easier now than later
Why? OEM is fine for NA power levels. Besides you only need to remove one trim piece to get to it/the trims not going back in with roll bar anyway
