Great video x wonderful footage x I do love a good storm but I cannot say I would want to be out there in the van x Glad you are safe and well Oliver and Leanne
I'm heading out Later, Getting the footage, and Back to Edit for tommorow morning at 9am! Great Video though Shaun, It's getting wild out there at the moment, Stay safe 🤙🏽
Nice one Shaun was a rough day i went to Gwithian at 11am was bad. I think back in the 70s three people got washed off the harbour in Portreath and drowned. Thanks again for another top video.
That’s terrible that the go washed out to sea. That’s why I stayed clear of the breakwater because you never know. The hardest part for me on that hill was holding the camera steady
Loved the video.... everything about it was enjoyable, even down the the subtle music! Thank you for the upload!! So glad they rebuilt the Monkey Hut after it was washed away and destroy back in the storms of 2013... it's always a spectacular sight to see the waves crashing over it in a storm!! So nice to see it here.... ty. Also, was it high spring tide today? Only the harbour is really high.... also surprised it didn't flood like it normally does.
Has to be said though.. that although a bit of a thigh workout.. the views from the pepper pot are incredible! Us Cornish are so lucky to call Kernow our home!
You never disappoint with your videos shaun. The power off the sea is pretty awesome. I'm over in penzance and I do t think it's that bad really so it must be the North Coast that's getting the worse off it.
@@LoveSundays comes directly off the Atlantic i in live in Hayle Carbis Bay,,, Godrevy is the place for dramatic storm coverage as engine houses depict Cornwall so does Godrevy thanks m8 have joined your happy band ,,,,,Ed
Just been to porthtowan and its mad there. There's sand and sea water being blown miles inshore too. Not seen much damage yet but there could be with how its shaping up.
Now if you were wearing your wet suit stood where you were at the end you reminded me of Patrick Swayze at the final scene of point break when he observes the huge waves but goes for it! 😂😂. Glad you made the sensible decision 😂. Joking aside glad you are safe after the storm and all my pals in Cornwall
Is this part of the red weather warning? Now I’m searching for vids of huge waves breaking over the sea wall with the backdrop of the Porthleven clock tower…iconic IMHO
It's horrendous in the caravan ATM Shaun and that's inland so I can imagine what that was like near the coast. That concrete structure on the breaker is that where people gathered????
Just starting to catch up on all the content I’ve missed after having the power cut off since Friday 10am.. she really was a bitch but what a beauty of a storm. Like you say all the hype just makes you want to go and witness it even more haha! From a safe distance of course 🤔😂
i live in Hayle Carbis Bay ...Godrey great pace for storm film action to b2e honest the whole coastline is rugged, let face it its the Atlantic Ocean Ed
How long you lived in Cornwall? The worst place to be is on the Headland ,PLEASE folks DONT climb up cliffs in Cornwall in these conditions we have had lot's of landslides over the winter it's so dangerous.
Oh that was BRILLIANT!!! Just wished it was looooonger ! Waves were magnificent- nature in all her glory - thank you for this 🦋
Brilliant video, it just shows how much power the sea and the weather has!
Love to see a good storm 💨 🌊 …. from the comfort of my bed 🙈 thanks Shaun for braving the weather 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video Ann 😊
I will continue to lie, safely, warmly and out of the storm, in my bed whilst I watch another epic Love Sundays video. 👍
Cheers mate. I had to get up at 5.30am to get out and finish this video 😂
You Legend Barns😂🤙🏽
Thanks mate... Let's hope we don't get any more big storms like that for a while now
Great video x wonderful footage x I do love a good storm but I cannot say I would want to be out there in the van x

Yea there’s no way if would’ve stayed over night in the van. I went home and back out first thing as this beach is only 10 minutes from me
@@LoveSundays it’s wonderful that you have such amazing coastline on your doorstep x super lucky 🍀

It was pretty windy to be fair 😂

Thank you for your kind words. I don’t think it was spring high tide just a really big stormy swell
Geez, man!!!! That looks like a great drone test opportunity... hmmmm lol
That guy I was talking to in the video was going to send his Mavic Air2 up yesterday but changed his mind
Awesome!! 😎👍🏻
Cheers Andrew

Wow! Storms can be scary! Glad you are safe!

do you know if that pub, the waterfront has shut down?? because my family cant actually tell, but it looks like it has.
How did that small building(light house 🤷🏻) on the end of the pier survive 😱
wow that was powerful stuff reminds us we are just tenants in this world.
Yea pretty scary isn’t it Kohn. Thanks for watching

No there is another structure but it’s all fenced off now. Stay safe today. Maybe deflate your awning
Same here, in caravan surrounded by old trees. Terrifying 😩
Nice, but Southerly Storms at high water springs are the best, and much better on the South Coast, at Mullion Cove or Porthleven... happy new year 🤙
Hi just subscribe to your Chanel, great videos, oviously your local, I'm in illogan, looking forward to seeing more videos, take care
Your about 10 minutes up the road from me 😂 thanks for subscribing 👍

Thanks mate. I think it’s getting even worse now
We’ve just had wind speeds of 122 mph on the south coast 😣
That’s crazy
How have you already edited this video so quickly at such high quality! 😅
😂 most of it was edited yesterday I just had to do the bit from this morning at the end. I thought it was a bit of a rushed rough cut to be honest 😂
