I used to do that job. I absolutely loved it. Every storm we would go out and it felt good doing a service. And for me it was an art form.
thanks yes real pride in what you do
it's practically a snow plow circle jerk 😂😭💀
Thank you Justin for all that you do! Excellent and noble work. Saving people's lives is an incredible gift
@JohnElHanafi That is very kind of you. Thank you and you're welcome.
My husband used to tow on highways and said that tow and plow drivers call snow "white gold" LOL He felt the same as you, btw.
Excellent capture. You can tell some drivers were getting impatient behind the last two salt units.
Yes, true thanks had to watch it again saw it
@@silverado15 their's three salt units for that run the third one was falling behind
@@64545 great thanks for the info my bad
Their cars are probably getting absolutely destroyed with road salt... Why drive so close behind? Fools.. 😂
makes no sense to me, where do they expect to go? driver has to monitor his spinner and conveyor speeds, other trucks in the convoy, regular driving, making sure his spread pattern is covering the lanes, and now you are going to make him also watch you in the mirror so he can swerve and make sure you dont try to pass?? wtf like hoe do these people even get from
point a to point b on a day to day basis.
i plow large industrial and commercial sites as a subcontractor but when i am
on the road either going for fuel or rarely switching to another property or going in or home for work i see it all the time. i always just turn on all my strobes, and sit in the middle of the lanes and leave about 10-15 car lengths depending on their speed and dont let anyone pass so those guys can keep the roads clear and safe.
safest place is behind the snow plow. the 10-20 mph difference in speed for a few miles or a couple dozen or whatever it is only costs you a few minutes. a crash stops you in your tracks. so dump
Good job guys ,I worked for a state road dept. spent many long hrs.plowing snow and salting .the public does not voice there thanks to people that do this .so here's A BIG THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR JOBS. KEEP THE SUNNY SIDE UP STAY SAFE
yes you are right big shout out to the plow drivers
The public doesn’t voice their thanks, they just pay your salary.
I’ll take a tax break in exchange for voicing thanks, where do I sign up?
The real MVP's, that's for damn sure!
nobody tells me how to make my eggs, always poached not sunny side up
@@nickkerr5714 you would rather drive through more than a foot of snow everywhere you need to go than thank a plow driver? Because if everyone took that kind of tax break there would be no need to thank the drivers since there wouldn't be any...
Im really impressed with the fact that those trucks can plow and pull a trailer sideways that also has a plow so effortlessly
Ya it takes quit a bit in of training
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ How does this go with a plow convoy?
Illinois resident here. Thanks to all the snow plow drivers…really appreciate you guys. The only thing I cry about is my car sitting behind the hill of snow that was pushed next to it🤦🏾♀️😫😂
Ya they work hard long hours
To all the snow plow drivers out there, thank you for doing what you do and working the mad weird hours you work.
agree 100%
This is really great to see!!! Excellent driving skills by the plow drivers, great catch by the camera guy. The only thing that bothered me a little was the couple of impatient drivers, these plow drivers are doing a great job getting these roads openned up fast from rail to rumble strips and just give them some space and a few minutes longer and just drive a few miles an hour slower.
yes you are right impatient drivers
Some people are so impatient, can wait for the snow plows to do their jobs!!!
and the pickup truck had no where to go even if he did pass the salt truck... like theres a row of plows in front of you sir. chill out
A few *kilometres an hour slower.
@@JesusFriedChrist ew
I work late and see these all the time in Wisconsin, and I always stare in awe like a 6 year old watching a firetruck
ya it is very cool to watch
Spent a winter in Minneapolis and was also always amazed to see those plows in that staggered formation clearing highways in one pass. Much appreciate their dedication and skill.
Wow! Snow plow drivers ; America is so grateful! You rock! 👍🎉🙏😇❤️
Yes they are!
Yes these type of vehicles truly only exist in america, the unique sight of these things are really something that you can't get in other countries.
This is just nothing short of Amazing and I was smiling from ear to ear while I watched these Men and Women do this.
Thanks i agree 100%
I live in Texas so I never see anything like this. Awesome footage. Great to see such coordination from our public servants, keeping people going about their days.
Definitely is very cool to see
That's professional driving skills right there! To be able to move in since like that and not hit each other's blades! Great works guys and gals!
super skill
lol they're not right beside each other. Watch the entire thing.
@Hollywood sorry you're so delusional.
Its actually more like they were about 20 feet apart, but still this would require some good coordination
Thats the way to do it...I would be so happy to be behind them!!!! Thank you for the video.
no problem i have followed behind them as well pretty interesting
Pure TEAM work. Together Everyone Achieves More.
awesome comment
May God Almighty bless this brothers for their work and keep them safe.
Amen
Thanks for all you guys do. Working round the clock at a moments notice. It’s very much appreciated by me and my whole family. 🍻
great comment!
I love how some cars are trying to sneak by, like somehow they are going to get through the plows ahead and drive safely in the snow.
will bottom line they wont get by the should just be patient
Typical
I and 2 other plows were doing a road and a car went into opposing lane to pass us. About a mile farther down he was sideways blocking the road stuck. Ruined the day for all the cars still following us. Needed a tow truck to pull him free. We waited for that to happen. We couldn' pass him or pull him free. Patience works!
@@williamgibb5557 you are 100% right about patience works! you must have smiled when you saw the passing guy stuck later
Jednoznačne palec hore 👍 Profi Praca 👍💪👌 Králi ciest 👑👑👑
Thanks for watching
These men and women doing the snow plowing deserve a ton of thanks.
Yes you are right they work Hard!
mostly men
That is the best plowing system I've ever seen... Very cool video !!!
those plow convoys take for ever to catch them but they are very cool
They are doing this in NY, and its a great way to clear the roads and keep the lead foots under control. Those people are in such a hurry and when they hit a bad spot, spin out and into the ditch.
Excellent video👍👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Talented, NY should take note!
Not sure if you meant NYC or what. Upstate NY is very well practiced and efficient removing snow, especially along the Thruway.
I loved the timing of that one white suv on the on-ramp "Ok, check blind spot... Holy shit, hit it!"
Ya the driver the the Mazda SUV
That looks awesome!! Strength in numbers!! Beautiful!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
definitely team work
we need these guys down my block. my town did a crappy job!
ya did you guys just get nailed with a major storm?
Sweet. We love ❤ you plow drivers.
Yes we do cool you tube name
The blue angels of snow removal!
great comment
Wow. Impressive and these boys know what they are doing!!!
You would think these drivers would be a little bit more patient and respectful of the people trying to clear the road. My God they have a 100 Drivers out there and perfect alignment. Very impressive. They are like "We're going home in an hour everybody at the same time"🤣
yes a lot of drivers have no patience
Yes,drivers are the most spoiled people, but at the end of a 80 hour week are more we slept in our trucks and got cat naps it felt good to now you did your best to help keep the public safe.
I don’t know what state law you’re referring to, but 200ft. is an insane amount of distance at 35mph.
@@becka42 The post I meant to reply to was either removed or I clicked on the wrong one. It was a post about being required to be 200ft back. I probably fat-fingered it on my phone.
I have no idea what your "welcome to America" comment has to do with anything.
Be less pretentious, maybe?
I miss working with those tow plows, they are an amazing piece of equipment
Snow removal and plows are always cool
Come to Russia. we have a lot of work for you)
I certainly would not mind waiting in traffic for this. Such an efficient way to help save lives. I wish every city would do this. A quick one & done
Yes you are right
Mercy sakes alive! Looks like we have us a convoy!
great song from the seventies
Amazing set-up and amazing plow skills.
But this will not cancel the need of winter tires for all the vehicles in the back of the convoy !!!
yes winter tires are important
I love seeing them on the roads in pairs 😊. The little kid in me gets excited they are out in force
oh ya they are awesome
We use to run 6 to 8 trucks in a row and plow one after the other to move the snow from one side to the other side guard rail to melt off,it was net to be in the line ,we used radio contact with each other and the first one would salt the road then on to the last truck ,it felt good to clean the roads and leave a safe place for the public to drive on.
@@charlesblanton9409 the inner child in me says thank you 🥳🤗
@@charlesblanton9409 ya its hard work but it pays off
Nice! I got catch behind them on the way home today! Great shot!!
so there was an accident on the Kanata hill the convoy stayed on top of the hill till the accident was cleared were you stuck in that
Amazing shots!! Never seen anything like it.Especially here in Georgia lol.Great video🤓👍🏼
Georgia you are pretty far south mild winters
Great team work
ya for sure
Teamwork at its finest!
thats right
Thank you for your service.Great job.
Your Welcome nice you tube name!
When I was stationed at Grissom AFB Indiana, clearing the aircraft flightline/parking area after a large snowstorm was time consuming. We would move all the planes away from the taxiways. Seven rollover plows would move the snow away from the taxiways. Once they couldn’t push any further, a snowblower blew it as far as it could, and the plows would push again. While all the plow action is going on, we were moving aircraft to the newly cleared parking areas. Very labor intensive and time consuming.
Thanks for sharing that, very cool the way you describe the snow clearing at the base
holy shit amazing catch
thanks for visiting was on your channel before you have good content leaving you a sub
Gosh, that's beautiful! :-)
ya looks really cool
Very nice job guys 👍👍👍
Thanks for the visit ya they worked great as a group
Awesome video nice catch
thanks Valentin
Looks alot like a snowplow race, very cool
thanks Justin ya it kinda does look like a race!
That’s the definition of : AWSOME 😀👍🏽
you bet
As a born and raised Floridian, this is something I've never seen before......so glad I live in paradise......
you are right no snow where you are
Nice job guys, out there getting it done.
you got it right
Pretty impressive that’s a lot of equipment good video
thanks they bring the entire fleet out for this convoy
Hell yeah! Getting the job done! That's plowing the road!
Yes I Agree!
It's better to be safe than sorry ! The drivers should be thankful they are doing there jobs to keep them safe and alive !
great comment
That is nuts! I live on Main Street (literally) and have a snowplow driving by right now as I type this here in central New Hampshire bit I've never seen 7 lanes of plowing like this. Very interesting!
Ya it definitely is very cool to watch and video
The video was done on Highway 417 in greater Ottawa, Canada
Absolutely awesome!!
thanks for visting me on my channel i subbed you got alot of cool snow removal videos which would like to watch. you should turn your comments on so people who watch your videos can interact with you thanks
@@silverado15 my comments are on. At least they should be.
@@Thetruckhunter i think when you post the video it asks you if it is safe for kids when you say yes youtube automatically turns the comments off
@@silverado15 I never knew that
I respect any driver who is 5ton and up. It's not easy driving those machines. Blind spots and impatient drivers tailing you.
yes you got that right
США молодцы, не забывайте Американцы вы живете в лучшей стране МИРА!!! Минусы везде есть, но плюсво больше у вас на много.
Now that's impressive 👏 great job .
What I don't understand is the impatient drivers behind them seeing that they were trying to open the road up for you but you can't wait If you were that much in a hurry you should've got on the highway before they did .
Assholes..
everybody is in a hurry

Liyakat zırvalayanları da gördük, pkklıları hendekçileri toplayıp işe aldılar, uzun yıllardır karla mücadelede çalışmış, işi bilen yüzlerce çalışanı çıkarıp ayyaşları bindirdiler kar kürüme araçlarına. Kimisi zorda kalınca aracı bırakıp kaçtı, kimisi direksiyon başındayken alkollü diye polis tarafından götürüldü, kimisi o aracı kullanmasını bilmediği için kaya kaya milletin malına araçlarına zarar verdi, kimisi kar kürümek yerine bıçağı yere sapladı asfalta zarar verdi, kimisi daha o bıçakların nasıl yukarı aşağı yapılacağını bile bilmiyordu, canlı videolarda var, vatandaş diyor bıçağı kaldır, şoför salak salak bakınıyor yanlış yeri hareket ettiriyor.
Eee işinin ehli yüzlerce kişiyi ekmeğinden edip liyaket bahanesi uydurup hdp'ye diyet ödeme sözü tutup o iş bilmeyenleri işe alırsanız sonunuz böyle beceriksizce bir yönetim olur.

В точку.
It’s almost like a synchronised danced routine.😂 I enjoyed watching it. No snow where I’m from.
where are you from yes it is very cool to watch
These guys are pro’s!!
ya you bet they are
Freaking awesome 🤜💥
thanks
Very nice 👍
thanks
Wow 🤩.. thank you for the amazing service you do 🙏🙏
Ya those guys work hard
@@silverado15 they probably don’t make much money either which is sad
@@andrewjones4774 ya you are probably right
People riding their asses going to have a fun time getting all the salt off their car
you got that right
That’s pretty darn amazing. I’m surprised they let the traffic so close to the plows and salt trucks.
ya thats true he do get pretty close
By law they're supposed to stay back 200ft but impatient assholes don't listen. I stay at least that and just enjoy the clear ride... I've seen salt from them salt trucks shatter windshields and it ain't gonna be my car 🤣
They won't have any time to react if any debris ends up slipping between the plows. Darwin has had a few decades off now, I say we let em get back to work.
You guys know how to do it right up in the National Capital Region... Amazing footage!
thanks like waiting for a train LOL
Timing is everything, very cool, it’s neat to watch it roll.
agree watch the snow roll off the plows is amazing
The best one I have seen, so nicely done.
thanks
Brilliant! And what a team! All together now: hell no, we won't go! Yes! God given freedom!
Not even worth clearing right. Still love tow plows!
All the people jockeying for position changing lanes looking at the rolling road block are nutz.
the snow storm just finished so you are right the travelled lanes are cleared however there is a large amount of snow along the middle medium which has to be brought to the side that's why they are doing it hope that makes sense to you
It’s so satisfying to watch this. So organized omg I’m about to cream my pants.
Thanks pretty amazing
Who else have just fell in love with snow plowing video?
dont worry lots of people do
The person in the black Chevrolet Silverado should get a little closer to the salt trucks. Maybe they are looking for a new windshield?
awesome never thought about it that way
See my comment above.
По-моему они не чистят снег, а просто раскатывают его как тесто
Если бы они его раскатывали, то, наверное, использовали бы каток, умник...
@@dmitriylyakhov8486 умник, посмотри сколько снега они за собой оставляют, когда проезжают
Towards the end the right salt truck has to block the impatient pick up truck from getting in the way of the plow trucks. That's the worst part of plowing. Doesn't even matter if it's the middle of the night and everything's closed. I'm headed in right now to deal with impatient drivers. I hit my blast button on my salter control unit lol
you mean blast them out with lots of salt from the spreader
Wow great video especially how they team up and work like this gets that job done !
ya agree they get it done!
So much for all those little reflectors they glue to the road to keep you awake.
Up here they dont have those road reflectors

How cool is that! I want to be the last truck on the far right! He gets the most pushing! He better have the truck with the most horsepower!
never thought of it that way but you are correct
I've seen many snow plows never saw one with a trailer that does that dog walk and plows the next lane👍
yes first time i see that trailer in use as well
Very good synchronized plowing. If it was me I probably run into someone, but these people know what their doing.

1:26 That pickup made a improper lane change and didn't signal. Where is he going to go? As for the car, I think he may have been trying to get out of harms way. It's hard to tell at this angle.
Snow on the shoulder just existing:
Plows: lets spread it all over the road
actually they are trying to get the snow from the middle across to the sides
Wow very innovative way to clean roads
