Thank you for another great video, super super interesting once again. I was blown away by the solo you effortlessly added, I mean everyone can finally realize their dreams of creating music.
To generate harmony tracks on separate midi tracks, don't use band in a box, but realband, which comes with band in a box and allows you to do so. Thanks for your tutorial, always interesting and full of ideas
Not a fan of BIAB overall, but for this use case it was perfect. The track came out great and would work nicely as a background track. I like the way it worked for your ending. Good work. Loving your channel.
I'm learning so much your AI tutorial , but can you create replay another video tutorial for (replay 4.0 available version A to Z) ,Thank you so much .
I am a songwriter, a lyricist. I have been looking for a partner for years who could do the music for my lyrics. I have found two now; Suno, which I subscribed to and Udio, which I will subscribe to when it goes prime time. I plan on using these with my lyrics from this point on.And any others that come along, because they are only going to get better. I am a retired business owner and cancer survivor so now I have time to concentrate on the music. I appreciate your mentorship in these platforms.
I think you're in the right way, man. I don't know where u leave, (and the copyright law there), but it's important to register your creations (lyrics) and using this "aí partners" you can show your art to the world. It's what I like in this technology. Everyone can show the creations without depending a lot of money or another people. Go ahead!
Same here! Retired now and aiming to produce the songs I've been thinking about for years. This technology will let me produce something better than my shaky voice allows.
thak you for a very interesting video. i'd love to hear your thoughts on how to do this but with no starting song. maybe using captain epic to create a chord and melody?
Ace Studio is a strong online daw, the daw languages the only issues I have found are the accents on words. I know that's from the training data. This transfers into Kit's vocals badly. I hope later in the updates there is an option to upload vocals I have trained already, but I don't think it will happen. Anyways good work!
hi, Bob. i just came across your channel as i have started usiung AI for certain parts of my music production process and trying to learn different waysn to use it ethically to my original music.you have been very informative and entertaining to watch which is pretty rare on youtube. keep doing exactly what your doing and dont let the haters change what youre doing. you crack me up man. amd EDM/TRAp song about the difficullties choosing a resturaunt for a second date..😂🤣😅..fucking hilarious. andof course you videos/songs about cars are classic and makenthis channel what it is so keepm up the good work brother....as soon as i get some exra money ill subscribe to your advanced channel. thanksn againfor takingyour time to help people like me who have no idea what their doing or even here to start..... Bob Doyle for president!!!!!
Awesome, I guess I need some more skills to do that. Feel free to cleanup one of my songs made with Udio. They wold really pop if mashed em' trough you process. Thank you for a good portion of inspiration in the digital music era :D
Lol I think the assumption you need no skills for music because of Ai might not be as realistic , music is a craft man and the more you learn the easier it is to get over creative walls when you hit them
Is there to a way to offset/shift/time the vocals just a bit so that it sounds a little less robotic sounding? I'm listening with headphones and it's a bit samey samey to my ears, not like a group singing and each singer's part coming out a with the feeling that they are singing but not together but just put together, if that makes any sense. It's still good but it can be a bit better with more tweaking. Love your videos.
@BobDoyleMedia is there a good way to get ahold of you? I had a few questions about using Band In A Box. I like what I've seen you able to do with it and would like to potentially incorporate it more into my work. Just don't quite understand it yet.
Hey Bob!............. Would you know, if a User can input notes via a MIDI Controller into ACEStudio,? besides inputting a MIDI file or manually painting the notes in? Thank you for reading
I tried Ace studio but didn’t want to sound like a Chinese mainlander. Can’t believe they haven’t fixed the sibilance yet. Even when you find an issue with pronunciation in Ace it is impossible to fix it. For instance, in your example “someone” sounds like crumpled plastic with an accent. This tech is so close to being cool.
I think this is cool but also abit sad when musicians themselves promote these platforms by saying things like "no need for a signer, or guitarist I can just do it with Ai" without being cogniscent that this is affecting guitarists and singers. I personally feel we could at least have more candor.
Okay...I'm usually against AI Everything, but I have to say your approach, using AI generation as a starting point to create something (as opposed to some kid in his bedroom clicking a button and posting "hey, lookit at whut I did!") is legit.. and your demo even with it's flaws and glitches sounds pretty good! I wouldn't mind having that complete track on a playlist!
Bob did you feed BIAB with your old sixties recording and have it recognise, isolate and extract the sung melody to recreate it as MIDI? Or did that song So Nice have to be some BIAB predigested component that comes free or paid for with the program? Does extracting the melody to MIDI info automatically quantise it to something mechanical? Or the original resolution survives? And if all of that is so --- does that mean that you can take any original composition of your own, say, and de/re-construct it with new ''musicians'' and ''singers'' using this method? I ask since I have a number of original songs i would like to hear ''produced'' by other ''bands''. Great vid btw, thx!!
To answer your last question first, YES you can use this with your original songs to rework it like you suggest, but to answer your first question, that particular Band in A Box file came with the melody already input by someone manually - that's something you can do with Band In A Box. So in this case, it was already there, but you can always add it yourself manually. I know that may seem a bit confusing without a deeper understanding of Band in A Box, so sorry about that!
I'm learning so much about how to survive in this AI world as a musician. Thank you so much.
I appreciate you watching!

I was impressed you started with BIAB. That software seems to always fly under the radar.
Thank you for your time for making these videos
Thank YOU for watching!
cool program, pleasant presentation, thank you.
Glad to hear it. I was worried it was going to be too convoluted.
Haha! A Brazilian song. 😊. Congrats for all content. It's helping a lot!
SO glad to hear that!

Thanks! I will investigate that! I haven’t checked in on Realband in years!

We are going to do that with someone from Replay soon!
Great Job!

Be careful, despite canceling my subscription they continued to charge me and they do not answer my emails.

Honestly I’m just getting reacquainted with it myself. I’m hardly an expert. 🙂
more open source free things pls

Are you aware that you’re covering a very famous Brazilian song sang by George Michael??
I know an easier way to get the harmony
This ACE Studio is not suitable for Indian language like hindi, Bengali, marathi
Why always use such old fashioned songs for your essays and examples, try something more familiar now.
Bob great information as always! Please do consider exploring other genres. I’ve noticed some of these techniques don’t work well with other genres.
What can I say? I’m 58 and this is the music I like playing with. And I’m very cognizant of copyright issues so I try to play it safe as possible.
I'm 62 and I love Bob's song choices.
I'm 24 and still love this. If you don't like it you don't have to be mean about it, you can just go over to the website and try it for yourself. ✌️
Why has AI not replaced this RUclipsr yet?
Because he's AI wise already. Why has AI not replace you yet?

Dude do that with trap or pop music, like your tracks are always acustic and boring...
That’s because I am acoustic and boring.
