The size of glass comes down to a personal preference and style! Our 1/2" fire tempered fire glass is our most popular choice for outdoor fire pits but no performative differences have been noticed in the flames when using our 1/2" and 1/4" fire glass. We have a short video about that here: ruclips.net/video/mtm2S81X_EY/видео.html
@@celestialfireglass can you help me figure if I use fire glass but using in a fire safe bowl with glass and cans filled with alcohol can I put the glass over the cans so they aren’t exposed and all I see is the glass instead of seeing the cans
I have an ethanol tabletop fire feature which I've added glass to. Is there a certain epoxy or resin that I can use to keep the glass from shifting around and covering the fuel source?
Thanks for checking us out! Adding resin to hold the glass in place is a great idea to keep it out of the fuel source. We don't have any specific brand recommendations as we have not tested this ourselves. We recommend contacting the brands of epoxy/resin before buying and seeing if they have any heat limits.
Im sad, i live in France and i cant buy that😔 because i need that for my art project, i try to found similar glass whats thé size of 1glass? I convert in minimeter after to found that
We're sorry to hear you're having trouble buying our fire glass. Have you checked on Amazon? We have many of our colors and sizes listed there and they may be able to ship internationally to you in France. As far as glass sizes, we have our Tempered Fire Glass in 1/2" and 1/4" thick sizes but the length and width of the glass pieces will not be uniform and will vary greatly. For more information on our glass sizes check out this short video we made here: ruclips.net/video/mtm2S81X_EY/видео.html
No, it's a really good blue. If you're seeing a purple shade it's due to differences in how monitors display colors. I always recommend ordering a sample prior to purchasing for your fire pit so you can see the color in person.
For Canadian Customers we recommend using Amazon to ship for our fire glass. We have some colors in Amazon's Canadian warehouses so that will be the best option for you to purchase our fire glass!

So, sand is not necessary?
No, sand is not recommended as it will retain moisture and cause the pan to rust through.
