This is legitimately one of my favorite shows of all time so I actually kinda enjoyed playing this game despite how meh it is. Being able to walk around the Barn and see how accurate it was portrayed was really cool. Definitely awesome to see The Shield on Triple Jump
I have all the seasons on dvd and was also quite a fan. That being said I had no idea it had a video game adaptation. Time to go eBay hunting lol

Such a great series and strangely forgotten. This was Breaking Bad but with realism. You dont see "sigma edits" of this show on RUclips probably because the bad guys are actually portrayed as gut wrenchingly impactful on everything around them.

As much as this game sucks, The Shield is legitimately one of the greatest shows ever made! If you've never seen it, do yourself a favour.
Unpleasant Trivia: Michael Jace (who played the character Julian) is serving a life sentence for murdering his wife after a custody dispute.

The shows theme tune is a legitimate banger! Really loved this show when it was on.
I remember playing this game back in late 2000s. The 'dope turning in' mechanic is interesting but unfortunately this game needs more of open world or at very least branching path to even be something that is worthwile. It got the idea but not executed rightly.
Better stealth action than MGS, Hitman and Splinter Cell combined
The stealth section mechanics do look very Splinter Cell-esque.

The TV show is genuinely great,just watch the first episode to give it a try. It's full of great actors with Goggins being the standout for me.
You're wrong about the BB comparison though as Walter wasn't bad at the beginning,he was in fact a gentle and loving family man. He only got into making Meth because he had cancer and wanted to leave his family with some financial security. We then watch his gradual transformation into 'the one that knocks'. So get your facts right or I'll go all Tuco Salamanca on your bottoms😅.
Side note, I'm new to your channel and think it's great. I'd appreciate links to what you did before Triple Jump, AAAANNNNNDDD, I quite fancy Ashton ❤.

This game is very unrealistic. But I suppose being realistic probably would have taken the drama out of the show if the characters only consequence for his horrible actions was paid leave.

One of the best TV shows of all time.
The series was good but hard. And during the interrogations it was also quite intense. If you didn't answer very quickly, you were immediately stretched out on the floor because the chair you were sitting on was immediately kicked away from under you.

The show was really good, but I wasn't aware of a game, but I suppose shows like The Sopranos got the game treatment, so I shouldn't be surprised.
It's a surprising good looking game. The Barn in particular, it was funny you getting lost, but even though it's been 15 years since I last saw the show, still remembered it.
I do agree that the sound stings seem backwards.
It’s like hardline and punisher had a love child. Send it this way, even if poorly implemented I love the random gritty games like this. I’d even go as far to say it’s like true crime, except there is glue everywhere so you can’t fly thru the air to implement justice.

If I remember correctly Rampart was the inspiration for thedirty cops iin Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas only thereal organization waseven worse then the Grand Theft Auto version.
Kinda makes me sad it was far from anything amazing but i liked the game as a teen for what it was a tie cash grab sad to see it getting crapped on

The show is fantastic, so I cringed when it popped up, but it doesn't seem all that bad. I think I'll be heading off to Ebay soon. The chance to become Vic Mackey might be too much to resist.

I would argue the Sopranos had a much bigger influence on Breaking Bad buddy. Even Bryan Cranston said that there wouldn't be a Walter White if Tony Soprano wasn't first.

The Shield is not worst game tho, REDFALL OVERWATCH 2 are worse, locking heroes into battlepasses lmao, at least Michael Chiklis voiced the game and many other actors. The stove grilling faces on the stove is an actual scene that takes place in season 2, if nobody seen the show, that show was so fucking dirty and gritty. Took the limits what could be shown on cable.

I enjoy that in this Worst Games Peter wanted to stop playing, not for any glaring technical flaws in gameplay like usual, but because playing a dirty cop who tortures and shoots unarmed people made him massively uncomfortable.

it's a game based on a show that is a criticism of corruption in police from what i can tell' more kids probaly became cops from them being de facto treated as good and the lack of oversight they have.
