The night prior, Lynch Mob performed at The Bay City Fireworks Festival and 15 minutes into their set, it began to rain. It quickly turned into monsoon like conditions. The roof over the stage partially covered them, but their gear got soaked. They played through the blowing wind and rain for another 25 minutes until the equipment failed.
For this show the next day in Battle Creek, they tried to dry out their gear and used some borrowed equipment, but as you can see in this video, there still were some issues with the audio.
